    I should point out from the start that I agree with confronting combat logging. It is far more prevalent than hacking. Hacking will always be there and if I spot it I log out and go to a different server. The question is just how do you deal with hackers now the combat logging is implemented? 

     

    For example a couple of days ago I was wandering about in Electro, up in one of the buildings near the fire station, climbing down the stairs from the top floor. I hear someone come over the voip in what sounded like a Scandinavian voice. I can't work out what they are saying but I presume it's someone outside so I go back up to the top floor to look out the window. I then hear laughing. Ok, bit odd. Then out of the wall (in a place that can't be reached normally) an unarmed guy wearing black t-shirt and jeans runs at me. I fire off a few rounds and hit him but he disappears through the adjacent wall. So it's a hacker, what next. I decide the only solution is to run and I make my way outside only for the hacker to appear through the ground floor wall of another building run up to me (at a significantly faster speed than normal sprint) land a couple of punches and disappear through another wall. I got a few more rounds into him and it's clear he's bleeding. I think the only solution is to find open ground so they can't run out of nowhere. Sure enough through a wall he comes running towards me on open ground. I can now empty my clip taking him down. I waste my full clip in the c*nt to ensure he's down and stays down. I then make my way to another building to check my gear and take stock, not least because non hackers will have heard the commotion and no doubt making their way towards me. I am crouched in a nearby one floor building and through the wall comes another hacker, whether they are the same I don't know but they are the same character/clothes as before although the first one was definitely dead. I fire off some more bullets and hit them but they run through the wall to escape. All I can do is run, run and run. I dodge through the town not caring if other players see me and somehow lose them, and find a sheltered area to log out. I go to swap server, and need to wait for the timer to run down, and when I join the new server, I am a fresh spawn. Clearly the hacker knew where I was and robbed/killed me while I was logging out.

     

    TL;DR? I got caught out by a hacker, not in a fight but they robbed/killed me as I was logging out. How do we resolve this?

     

    Runs away to Combat log...gets punished for it. Complains

    Here's a funny story:

     

    I was camping Balota Airfield, hidden in a bush close to the main road, as I always do on High population servers when I came upon an Interesting sight. A bambi...As i watched him through my scope I saw he only had a backpack, a baseball cap and a Yellow Raincoat. No weapons were visible...

     

    As he made his way past the 2 huge aircraft hangars a pair of fully geared players (you know...all military with M4s) came out in plain view from the hangar closest to the police station. Immediately the bambi stopped, raised his hands in surrender. 

    "He's as good as dead" I thought to myself. Sure enough they shot him and he collapsed.

     

    As both of them were busy rifling through his belongings I put a couple of Mossin rounds in each of their legs and they went down hard. While were trying to crawl away I shot another several rounds into their legs and legs only. 

     

    I was watching them from across the airfield as they were crawling away, trying to get up just to fall back again. They made their way into the police station and closed the door behind them...10-15 seconds later I heard gunfire and then nothing.

     

    Minutes later, one guy (I am sure he was not one of the 2 that went in, must have been camping the place) comes out of the police station, peeking around cautiously just to get shot in the legs...

     

    The cycle continues...

     

    Yes, I am a douche as well...but i do not Kill on Sight. I Kneecap on sight. That's why, you should always carry at least one morphine injectors..you never know when you'll need it :D

    What sort of Player are you on DayZ?

    Your Result: KOS'er
    You're basically to sum it up, an a--hole. The DayZ community despises you and wishes you to go and play COD or Battlefield. You shoot, hack, swing or punch anyone for no particular reason. You like to sit by the coast and snipe everyone you see.

    If the guy has no gear and looks like a bambi,I tend not to KoS. If he has any kind of rifle (M4,Mossin/Sks/) I aim for Center mass or non vital areas (depending how far he is from me) with a single shot. if I hit the target and he survives...well I let him be. It's far worse to be injured (bleeding, broken leg, broken arm) and have your Assault vest/backpack/jacket and everything you stored in them ruined than to start all over again. 

     

    I dunno...KoS'ing is becoming less fun everyday... Ruining their gear give them an incentive ti be more careful and keep looking for replacements. Most of my ammo is wasted on warning shots that land close to the target (if he's a bambi or with minimal gear) than in it

    Sorry, N00b question.

     

    A few hours ago me and a couple of buddies were camping Balota airfield (I know...we iz bad persons), one of the buildings next to the hangars to be more exact (if you look from the barracks next to the concrete wall by the road it would be the first one before the 2 huge hangars). There were...at least 2-3 guys inside and one was opening and closing the door trying to see what was outside. We got a few shots in with our Mossin and SkS from across the airfield (100-150 metets away I assume) and quite a few times we saw the bullets impact the door. but the guy didn't seem to take any damage at all.

     

    I know the 7.62x39 and the 7.62x51 is not exactly powerful enough in game to go through walls but shouldn't it had gone through the door and knocked the guy out?? I am pretty sire i landed at least 3-4 direct hits on the door behind where he was hiding and my friends got at least twice as much as me...

    Forget the ammo thing, you just reminded me I can use DMR ammo and I have plenty of that lol. Seems we have the same amount of gear as well. I have all the high tier stuff so nothing u have interests me. The only point seems to be other players and whilst I'm not bothered about losing my gear because I made a mistake, or killed by you, losing it to some dickheads who just run around Cherno deathmatching it certainly don't deserve it and it will be me running around looking for you plus avoiding those cocks. So if I come looking for ya and you happen to see me and kill me, or see me killed by the "Cherno Cocksuckers" lol - just shoot the scavengers and bury my body. If I shoot you I won't bury yours since ur hiding spot shouldn't be discovered by other players and u can go back and get ur gear.

    I am not worried about gear. I have 3 farm servers where i can get my gear back in less than an hour, depending where i spawn...it will be interesting. I just hope, that if we happen to be on the same server for our "duel", i don't get killed by someone else before we face off....

    Thank you jex...this and players like you is one of the reason i like DayZ so much

    Any hacker like you teleporting in god-mod around the map and hoping from server to server has this sort of humanity. Try to do this on a private hive boy!

    Sorry buddy, no god mode and so far i have been fairy safe in my camping spot outside Cerno. In the last 10 days i died twice. One to a script kiddie that killed the whole server and second to a guy that ran what I assume was a kill script after shooting him with an AS 50 (since he didn't die after a direct hit to the chest i assume he had god mode)

    No math. As you surely are aware of, humanity doesn't reset after death. It shows you 0 when you respawn but after the first murder it goes back to what you had previous. So you see, although i had died multiple times, after killing my first victim it went back to what i had....there's your math..

    Is MST 1 before PST? I only have an M24 so first blood wins?

    I also only have 10 rounds for it so each bullet fired right now is a considerable percentage of my stock.

    I also don't have any camo and can't since I accidentally clicked female the last time (and how many fucking ghillie suits do u find when u can't use them?)

    I play on a lot of diff servers, and i did make some scripties unhappy by killing/reporting them to the server admins (one previous thread was from a ban i received from US866 - hacking was tolerated and encouraged/used by an admin). I had a few follow me from server to server just for the pleasure of killing me.One example is =CW= Doc Smart, he seems to join every server i am 5-10 minutes after i log on, on several occasions. He's always either on top of the hotel in Cerno or on the top of the tallest industrial building, best gear. He dies, 5 mins later he's bck, same gear as before. What's even weirder is that he pulls out the most impossible shots. Through tree branches, tents (one case i was with a buddy inside the medical tents of Cerno and bam..my buddy dies - xxx was killed by =CW= Doc Smart (friendly fire) and based on where we were, Doc shouldn't have seen him unless ESP'ing), or closed doors. I died to him twice , the second time seconds after i spawned in a shack in visual range of his fav spot - he killed me on the rooftop of the sniper building in Cerno about 20 minutes before - server had tags... i know it was him, so i switched servers,respawned, geared up and went back to the original server for some payback (the shack is located on sniper hill about 1000 meters from cerno - straight run to the apartments outside, with a fence just in front. Shot came through the wall. Can't miss it, there is only one up there) To avoid that i change my name several times....

    Anyway, since you have little ammo i will have in my backpack at all times 3 DMR clips (although i use an AS50). When and if you kill me, should that happen, the 3 clips should compensate for the ammo wasted to eliminate me. For that case alone i will have the best equipment possible (NVG,GPS, Rangefinders. Coyote backpack). I want to assure you that in the event of you killing me, you have decent loot. As stated before, I can be found somewhere on 1km radius of cerno. Hope that helps, jex

    HEY GUYS I JUST WANTED TO COME ON A FORUM AND BRAG ABOUT HOW MANY MURDERS I GOT HOWEVER I DECIDED TO HIDE MY NAME BECAUSE I'M SO BRAVE LOLZ

    The current name is I_R_TROLL. You will find me mostly on US 303 after 5 PM MST us time, somewhere around cerno. If you want to try your luck at taking me out Jex, be my guest. And faceman, for the record, all my kills were confirmed deaths, all armed to the teeth with some of the best equipment ingame and all at distances of over 400+ meters. So far, in the last 6 days, only one person was brave enough to try and and find my sniper spot but died even before he got close...

    No, and this is by far the simplest thing to achieve. Run about the coast like a lemming with a rifle and kill every poor survivor you see, you murderer of love and dreams. Wallow in your sin against your fellow man and burn in beanless hell...I'll sit in my Chernarus Humanist Society HQ, handing out bloodbags and sodas.

    I don't kill unarmed survivors. All my kills had weapons ranging from AK's to AS50. Mostly countersniping in cerno...

    yeah i agree its pretty easy to get stuff on here

    Haxxor...you forgot to add TWS after AS50. If you are using hacked gear at least be honest till the end...

    On another note, as long as Rocket doesn't introduce a disconnecting timer, the M107 and AS50 are the best antidote for the Alt+f4 wussies. I for one used to love the DMR but getting a headshot on a moving target from 600+ away isn't so easy as some of the posters here make it look like. with a DMR, as soon as the first shot strikes home I see them combat logging. AS50 being 1s1k kill prevents cowards from disconnecting.Remove the Alt+F4 possibility and you might have a basis for your request to remove sniper rifles from the game!

    As far as I see it Mcgee..you are displaying the sore loser "I was sniped several times and I can't snipe for sh!tm so i want all snipers removed" attitude. Grow a pair and learn to adapt...

    If you feel like you've been unfairly banned we're happy to remove it if you are adamant that you'd done nothing wrong. Just provide Carnivore or myself a PM with the last 5 digits of your GUID and we'll remove the ban.

    You're always welcome to message or talk to one of the admin team by joining the TeamSpeak server that is announced in the server message of the day.

    what I am more interested than having the ban removed is an explanation from you regarding the invisibility mode, god mode and teleporting that you have so skillfully displayed when you killed/banned me. I though have a feeling i'll sooner find out the exact dimensions of the universe rather than that...

    Sure buddy, good lie!

    This server is one of the three that I frequent the most, only because it actually has active admins.

    Everytime someone gets banned they put a message of why they got banned; and 90% of the bans are for teleporting, god mode,and spawning weapons.

    It is because of scripters like you that this game can get really annoying. Play honestly like the rest of us, or go play on your own private server you fucking turd.

    First of all get your quotes right. Nowhere in my post have I mentioned anything about scripting on my part. Second, if you are going to accuse me of scripting either come up with proof of your accusations or GTFO. it's easy to run your mouth and say "Razyel kain is a cheater but i can't prove it". Just like I can say "I saw you teleporting and and spawning crates on the server, but i don't feel like showing any proof"

    No need for insults, the world doesn't need to know your frustrations kiddo.

    Carnivore, can you please provide the proof that i hacked in anyway? (I don't want to embarrass McDeath anymore. he does a good job at it himself.)If not I do ask that my ban is removed.

    As for you McDeath,I am not impressed. After all you do what you do best: run your mouth w/o any backup...good job buddy.

    Furthermore Carnivore, the fact that I got banned 20 seconds after i got killed by Hus3er means that either he's an admin and thus your server allows admins to hack or has close ties to the admin that banned me and, also that shows that the aforementioned admin is aware of the situation and encourages it.
