They are rare, rocket didn't want to reveal where they're at because it would spoil the adventure, but for one he said they can be found in buildings, and I assume at the crashed helis (Lots of them there) -
i hope they fix the crossbows some more, we should be able to carry lots of arrows on us without it eating our whole inventory. It's easy to carry arrows in a support for it and hang it by your arm, back.

over 12 hours, why am proud of that is that thx to the chat, I friendly'ed a bunc of people, we had a group of like 6, one was using mic and the rest chat. We went from airport to airport to black mountain and so on, it was great, then to the castle. Surviving through all this feels great, otherwise you can be a tree and survive a loooong time :P

Cod style = shoot everything? How about battlefield style? Or any game style that's first person? You kill the threat. In DayZ the threat is pretty much everyone that moves, exception friends which you don't shoot.

All this hatred towards games is annoying IMO, many associate games with COD, like what's wrong with COD? It's fast paced, it doesn't compare to the realistic arma series. They're all good games for different moods and mind sets. Why can't people just like all of them? I'm getting sick of people talking shit about COD while praising ARMA and vice versa, too many bashers. Though like I said, well said OP :D

Because COD is not popular, because cod is not known for just rushing and shooting, because Cod footage is not online, because the word cod doesn't imply lots of guns blazing. Cod is fun though.

+1 =) Already happened "Nobody will miss you etc" I respect OP"s opinion and I agree mostly. I am so sick of reading "IT"S A REALISTIK DIS WAY" like really? I was lucky enough to be on servers (chicago 7/8) where people call friendly and I made a bunch of friends there ,added them on steam. I've always been against bandits, as in those who just aimlessly kill on sight. The only way to combat the total deathmatch is if rocket adds something, advantages, disvantages. With the skin removal that's coming I bet it'll just get worse. Though I love the lootable skins idea.

Oh really? "facepalms" OP : they're both loud as heck and pretty much they're best used from far away and to hunt players. Enfield can save your life though if you are chased.

Night missions in Arma 2 were fine because of night vision and you'd mostly use the laser sights if you'd be with the squad but they are still WAY too dark, I never play at night in DayZ. Too dark :P -

Don't worry, most suggestions seem to be in the "benefit only me" gender and some are just something that the game will obviously have by its release and at one time or another is intended to be added. Now the bad ideas and so on are obviously overlooked, Rocket knows better.

I'd rather crawl for 20 minutes past some bandit (While trying to get a good shot) than risk dying and starting over. So I hate dying pretty much :P even if I had low gear. -

I think it's going to either be inventory item or one time use kinda like you use food and so on, i think it'll be an inventory item and we'll be able to "interact" with it (Right click on it?) thus the new gear system that'll be added ;o so i guess it goes away upon death. I just hope that they won't be rare as some guns are because clothing is everywhere. -
