    I like the idea about restricting players and would like to see more than handcuffs being used. What about implementing zipties which can be broken out of easily but only if you just want to stick someone up for their blood or something. You could also use rope as a more long term thing to bind someone up ?

    yeah but right now its practically impossible to identify another player, except with player names on and then that leads to autospotting, we need some sort of system to see who players are, i quite like the idea of seeing player player names at a close distance, seeing as though we don't have defining facial features like we do in real life, player names will have to be close enough.

    im not really sure how rocket would do this, but it would be nice to have player names show up on servers ( i know this is still a admin option to turn them on or off ) but instead of it should a player name and they location from xxx distance off you would instead have to very near the player like 5-10 meters this would still let you know a player is ( and who the possible backstabber is ) instead of seeing a survivor and not know who they were unless you try and give some vague position on who they were and even then most of them don't both to reply.

    Bandit/Survivor Morphing to be removed

    personally i think removing the morph is a brilliant idea, before players just use to kill bandits on sight, and this use to be frustrating for the bandits who get the skin cause of self defense, but even now with Humanity gone and being skin locked for now players are already less shooty shooty. For Example the other day while im currently skin locked as a bandit came across 2 survivor groups i use the surrender animation we exchange a few words and we are both on our way, before it would have been they see me and shoot on sight, i believe this is the right way to go

    Yeah, a graphical chance like the meters lowering over time displaying how full they are and not just being dependent on seeing the colour would be very very helpful would be really helpful right now I can only tell when it's full and when it's basically empty hehe :P And as the other guy said there are many different forms, you really need one sure fire way to tell how full or empty the meters are

    yeah, also IED's range from big to small, and i think having the ability to set small crippling traps would be good or maybe even none lethal traps would be good just to add really more stuff to do. Also to place a IED, trap down you would need maybe entrenching tool and a tool box maybe a few other things ? so it would not be easy to gather all the mats to make a IED

    i like this idea could also tie in with my other thread, but you would need to find components to craft it your self ? in fact i think we should find and make a lot more craft able things in game instead of reliying on jsut finding loot you can make some rare items your self so dragging round that pane of glass or something else pays off in the end

    not even that powerful, you could make them really late game stuff and taking a lot of rare components like say a GPS and your favorite night vision goggles. we are already seeing missile launchers why cant we take the ammunition from one of these and make a simple proximity mine which does not discriminate so even you can be killed by your own bombs. and explosives can not be placed of pavement or inside buildings or maybe you need more components like a radio to set it off and can only be so far away before it wont work. they should be really limiting or even none lethal IED's ( improvised explosive device ) something which works on shrapnel and would injure/cause bad injury to player but would not kill but even these would be very very expensive to make. Example: Tin can Proximity mine ( none lethal will cause major injury and stun ) tools needed: Tool Box Hunting Knife matches Entrenching tool Items needed: Tin can x 1 Winchester pellets x 5 Electronic wiring x 3 ( none common find takes up 2 slots ) ( also used for cars and other forms of transport) Form of use: Player places tin mine in one location, the mine works but ANYTHING coming into a close proximity of it about 30cm so you have to be close, cant be placed of pavement or roads or in buildings. once something comes into close proximity of the mine it blows up in a outwards direction taking out a characters legs cause serious damage to the lower half of the character causing major injury but not death and will cause stun

    Suggestions to solve the biggest issues

    i like the ideas and i support them, and i am a bandit/goodguy i play what ever style suits me, and right now in my bandit skin i tend to sneak up and kill players as quickly as possible because i know they would kill me back given the chance. but i dont see why people are saying other people are playing it like "CoD" cause i really dont see it, when ever i have played i have seen players roaming about and treating it like the game it should be. don't punish the bandits because in the zombie sandbox its a legit play style i do like the idea of more bullets being fired the more zombies will be attracted, the biggest threat in the game right now is only players, in my opinion zombies are not the threat they should be and they should either be buffed up or spawned a lot more, i would like to see people spraying and praying swamped in abut 100 zombies, maybe instead of zombies being static when spawned they will move around in a bigger hoard gaining more and more zombies depending on where there is more noise coming from. most of the time i would rather avoid killing other people unless i need/have to and that's the deterrent you have to make people become more attached to their weapons/gear, even now with my GPS im very careful and even when i decide to play bandit i always think about what im doing because i want to keep my GPS and other items, maybe also a much wider verity or making stuff rarer ( alot ) would force people to think about their actions i mean who wants to risk dieing just to kill a spawned player ? its boring i would rather hunt bigger game.

I would like to see more explosive weapons in dayz even if they are just IED's and something you scrapped together, and would be cool to have to go out and find components to craft like a pipe bomb, or a proximity Mine ( IED ofcourse) just to add that and also any defenses you have set up in a area you can put a little more defense there and also protect your tent.
