Arty (DayZ)

The Russian ground forces uses almost exact weapons. They only look different but most of them are about the same (arguably). Even if you take out AS50 and other one-shot-one-kill weapons and put in all the Russian weapons, you still end up with high-grade sniper rifles/anti-materiel rifles. The only reason why this mod has American and other foreign weapons is because they got them from the original game. You can look at what the Russians use right now: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_equipment_of_the_Russian_Ground_Forces#Individual_weapons Making ammo scarce will not fix anything at the current state: reloging brings back full mags. It would be best to take out a few weapons and balance them. Bring them back once ammo bug is fixed and/or weapons are balanced correctly.

It's very hard finding rare items. Problem is, once you get used to the drop area and start hording then it becomes too easy. In the end people just end up hoarding the best stuff and never run out of good weapons/equipment.

I prefer to stop at every deer stand, fire house, buildings and barn and kill as many zombies as i can on my way to NWAF

If this mod had "friendly" bandits, i doubt i would play it. It's what makes this mod special. U don't get the same rush when u sprint towards a town in other games or the reason you prone around. You even think twice before fire your pistol. Name one fucking game where u would think before firing your gun? I am only gonna be playing mods from now on. No more of these sugar-coated-rainbow games.

I'm getting the hang of this game, so i want to start roaming with more people. If you use vent/ts let me know if you need an extra hand in your group.

Looking to play with a group of people. I am ok with playing peacefully or going on a killing spree (games are games). I am 25, live in U.S. and use vent/ts. So if you're from US or Canada - where my ping isn't gonna be too crazy- let me know if you need an extra hand in your group. It just seems to me the game will be a lot more fun with a group of people.
