Lets summarize the thread here. I made accusations of what I believe happend I was about 70% accurate, Rodder clued me in on to the rest of the story. Admitted to the group duping items. Said Sorry and moved on You come in, also claiming to have duped items, but are butthurt because you think I wanted all your gear for myself. Veridct: You cheated, you admit to cheating. End of Story If i had a way to just remove hacked items, i would love to know how, please, clue me in as you are clearly a superior Arma2 admin and know how well the engine works. /thread

And don't worry, when i get some spare time here at work ill check the current logs and ban you as well. Why was I logged out at your base? because i was checking the server logs. 7 as 50s? clearly you dont know your own camp then, the UARL itself had 21~ AS50's, and the bus i saw had i believe 10 more, it was well over a threshold of normal hoarders, as rodder already said only the 7, that you probably are talking about, were legit. Why didnt i destroy the vehicles? Because if you had been playing this game for more then a day you would realize that on server restart most vehicles that were destroyed will reappear back at the last location fully repaired with all its gear. The same happens with tents. The reports i got of a town being destroyed was cherno, maybe he meant elektro, i dont know, i dont care, it doesnt matter which, the important detail was that it was reported that half of the city was blown up, hospital firehouse, etc. And there were multiple bodies from Max, some of which still had satchel charges. Again, Rodder already verified the demolition. Lastly, why didn't the two guys on the atv shoot the truck? because they saw it hundreds of meters away and eventually lost track of it while trying to follow it. I don't know what the hell you're trying to accomplish here but shallow threats and crying will do you no good.

Rodder, Thanks for the explination. I don't really need to say anything further in regards to that then as I was right to assume foul play. To BlackOverlord and Vulture, what happend last night then was a case of the wrong place at the wrong time. What I can assume here is that while Rodder's group was spreading their vehicles out after I found their camp and shortly thereafter I banned them, you guys stumbled upon their vehicles loaded with the exploited gear. I had about 6 people on vent locating the vehicles when two of them on an ATV spotted you two in two of the trucks we knew to be Rodder's. At that point I assumed that I had missed a couple players and added you two to the ban list. Basically you two got caught standing over a dead body covered in blood holding a stolen gun so I acted with precaution until It could be sorted out. As soon as I can I will go ahead and unban the two of you and keep the rest still on the ban list.

Uh what? Are you trying to say that you found 30 as50's, 17 NVGS, assloads of satchels and about 50 other weapons on another server... and moved them all over to ours and immediatly found uarl and a truck? I don't think so Tim..

You're very welcome on Atlanta 73. its a East coast server with Regular settings with nameplates off, the time is UTC-7 with reboots at 10am EST daily. Unless the server requires midday restarts it will stay daytime until around 3-4 am constantly. Me and the other admin are online daily, with others that can get ahold of us if something fishy happens to be going on.

Do I have 100% solid proof? No, But I would say a bout 80%. And the fact that none of these people had been on my server previously. Half of Cherno was blown up at this point, I am not going to sit and have my entire server in rubble so no players can get loot while trying to wait around with fraps running attempting to get a recording basically as a normal player because Arma2's admin tools are awful for this sort of thing. This is why I did not support a global ban request for any of them, and just wish them off the server and offer a warning to other admins to watch out.

The owner wrote through BattleEye that it was for THIRTY as50's. About a week prior to this someone on the server reported that they found one of the cheated ammo boxes on the server in a forest with 5 of every weapon in dayz, and weapons not from dayZ in it. It was apparent someone on my server was hacking. Fast forward to last night, while searching woods in an attempt to find camps I stumble upon a quaint little base with the UARL, two trucks, a bus and about 5 other vehicles. This was all fine and well until i looked into the contents of the bus and and UARL and between the two found over 30 As'50s, 17 NVG and more then 5 of every other end game weapon. I can understand a slew of weapons, but Thirty AS50's and 17 NVGS is way too much of a give away. Especially considering that my group routinley checks downed helis every restart, we often leave weapons there but not 30 as50s worth, not in the month the server has been alive. A total of 7 of them were banned last night, all with Russian IP's. Another player on the server also mentioned to me a few hours earlier they were in Cherno and found almost every building blown up. There were about 7 dead bodies of one of their group named Max all scattered within the same area, all still with satchel charges on them. Noting that when I searched the logs of every player i was able to then identify their group and noticed every single one of the suspects had literally every tool(inc nvgs/range finder/gps), an AS50, and 3 or more pipe bombs on them. I believe as anyone should note Satchel Charges are hard enough to find, the fact that this group not only had over 30 as 50s as well as clearly over the same amount of satchel charges as well as the mysterious multiple dead body count suggests to me teleporting and item spawning. This is why you and your friends were banned from the server.

First off, Dayz 475 which was formley atlanta 73 is now BACK to atlanta 73. With that in mind I wish the DayZ community/mods/ whoever is asking servers to become uniform needs to chill the hell out In a matter of 3 weeks we were told (by HFBservers under direction of DayZ) to uniform to the NP:off :CH: on etc format, and then was told that same day "NOPE NOPE NEVERMIND" Then a week ago all servers were changed to all become "Dayz ###" The next DAY they were then changed to "US ###" and now a week later were back to the original format. Until whoever is in charge of coordinating these servers changes gets everything planned out and set, please stop fucking with the servers so people can not lose track of their home servers.

All the servers have been getting name changed for some genius idea to be more "uniform" They are all now being changed to "US XXX"

Wrong champ, not since 1.7.2 As it is now if a server reboots/crashes, you will lose any progress you have made since you last logged in. And to the OP. My server (dayz 475) has a tendenacy to crash/restart probably atleast once a day. Just because a server goes down doesn't neccisarly mean it was rebooted.

This is just an FYI, that HFBservers has renamed all pre-existing servers with new uniforms now. For anyone that was a regular on Atlanta 73 the name has now been changed to Dayz 475 I'd suggest a sticky of some sort along these lines as I imagine a bunch more of these popping up

Children... It wasn't even mentioned in the changelog it would be removed, it is more then likely a bug as other people have been losing various other items as well. Relax, we are at 0 hour for the patch.

Server admin of Atlanta 73 here. The server where LiveHifi had frequented for over a week, which makes me sad that I had to ban you. Was at the NW airfield waiting to cap a few server hoppers when i hear DMR shots from west of the airfield. over the course of an hour it was easily 70-100 shots, not sure how you had that much ammo but i'm not even thinking about that He was sitting West of the airfield in the field by the low yield industrial just shooting zombies that spawn there and also shooting towards the airfield to what i can only assume was baiting as he had a friend nearby. To make a longer story short he was there long enough that i got 3 buddies that were nearby to come surround him and we made our move. We killed your friend with our sniper and saw you run. Suddenly, he's no longer on the server. a minute goes by and another person (his friend?) walks up as were looting the first body and a tent they had there and we kill him as well. A couple more minutes go by and we see you back in the lobby. Assuming you probably went to another server and moved locations we spread out, didn't matter though, you still killed me as soon as you logged back in. Let me make this clear that before i even went to the airfield i stripped off my backpack and all my tools, i had nothing to lose, i am not bitter about dying. But I will not die to someone who dc's mid fight and then logs back in and kills people. I have no fraps evidence for any global DayZ bans, but let this Post be for any other server admins that see behavior from him on their servers, as he is now banned from mine

Not too much, its pretty hard. the logs wont really show if someone is spawning gear or anything unfortunately. You can see connecting player logs though, if they have gear in their inventory that's not part of DayZ then that's a pretty dead giveaway. Other then that just the same as others. Observer a hacker, record/ss it, report him, and then ban him

Hi, you must be new. Otherwise you would remember the previous patch right after melee was put in where zombies had ultra hearing which forced you to literally crawl everywhere.

I bought through HFB. Server was setup in 12 hours. Have had to send a couple support tickets and they were all answered within 1-3 hours. For one guy handling all the tickets id say hes been doing a bang up job, at least on my end If any of you guys have ever worked retail you would know its impossible to have 100% of people happy.

With the amount of a playerbase DayZ has there is no way this is needed. There are more then enough people "testing" the exact same aspects on normal, legitimate servers. There are enough remote unpopulated areas and towns on low pop or 25 man servers that you can perform whatever unique "testing" you want. This is a lame excuse for no pk. If you want it that bad, talk to the guy who had the SP version of the mod going, i'm pretty sure it still works for older versions and does not connect to the Hive, which you do not need for your "testing"

Oh Spawn, you so silly. I like how you think your server will not get blacklisted for this when its clearly written in the server admin rules that this type of behavior is not permitted and is grounds for server termination. You own the server, you don't down DayZ or the Hive's database which your server is connected to. Your server WILL be blacklisted, enjoy the money you wasted on the server

Why is this thread 20 pages long? To anyone in support of this server needs to just stop posting. Rocket has set specific rules that all servers need to follow, this server is blatantly ignoring those rules. The server should and will be blacklisted in the near future end of story

Admin of Atlanta 73 here.. had heard reports from someone down south about a chopper.. was sitting in stary and saw one fly overhead me. Put about 8 50cal shots into it but it didnt go down. Brought down the server right afterwards while I figure this out
