Bunty_Collocks, I don't know if I should take that seriously or not, I didn't ask for details on peoples sexuality as a requirement to join up. 4000 Z's killed you must be camped (no pun intended) in a supermarket somewhere probably behind the odd shaped fruits section, popping off zombies in the cover of dark, or maybe your in a cottage or one of the many parks in Chernarus in the bushes? uk_dayz_player, Can I suggest you start your own thread instead of hijacking this one. I created this thread to bring people together within our community as I have quite clearly stated on numerous replies. To be honest I have seen a few servers locked with only 6 or 7 players on them, it's quite clear what they are doing if the server is locked for extended periods of time with only a handful of players on it. Regardless of the fact that people say they are "staging joiners" I sat in the server lobby for nearly an hour and numbers on the "locked" server did not increase.

Guys, Were looking for players, not a server. I cant see why anyone would go to the expense of renting an arma server for DAYZ when there are so many out there. We currently run a "stock" ArmA server at iOGC.co.uk Anyway if individual players are interested in joining our now growing group please visit our site at www.iogc.co.uk we are looking for players over the age of 18. Hi meshcarver, looking forward to talking to you. Teamspeak is a VOIP software for talking to each other. It's completely free for the client, we run a server for TS, the details are on our website. I would recommended that you and anyone else interested in getting together with us register there and our members will help you with setting up you teamspeak client. We don't publish our passsword for obvious reasons. Were all older gamers mate, I am 42 and everyone is working so we game around that, more info is on our site. Many servers are running the Beta patch for ArmA OA because they are combined ops servers. This is why they appear with a red x next to them. There is a far easier way to run mods and keep them updated. Six Updater, you can install mods with this, just locate the mod in the list, right click it and update / install mod. This takes all the hassle out of installing, and generally is up to date with the latest release versions. You can get Six here: http://www.six-updater.net/ ArmA II launcher, this will control all your mods, allowing you to switch them on and off without having to change command lines. You can also set launch options like no pause, empty world and no splash etc to make your game launch faster, you can also run the beta patches with this by ticking the "beta" box (afer you install obviously). You can get Arma two launcher here: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8241 When running ArmA Launcher follow the setup guide it will ask you for the route of your game and if you have ArmA2 and OA. The added bonus with ArmA II launcher is that you don't need steam running to play ArmA. If you don't want to use Six (I highly recommend that you do) you can download the latest beta patch for ArmA at the armaholic website.

Hi, Thanks for taking an interest in this little get together. We already had quite a fun night just getting to know each other tonight, myself Kage and JamXo as well as some of the regular iOGC.co.uk members managed to find each other, get our weapons and ammo all sorted and a place to gather. I have already added many of you to my friends list, and if it makes things easier for getting together there is information on our website for teamspeak etc etc. Cheers.
