Hello guys since days is there the Arma 2 community grow's. so Whit all the new player also comes alot of new problems. i decided to make a how to instal Dayz manualy so you dont have to deal whit the SixUpdater crap this wil give you less headhicks trust me :P sorry if my english language isnt that good but em a dutch guy so yea here we go :D Step one: instal your game's Arma 2 & Arrowhead if you use the non steam version you can update your game at http://www.arma2.com...=folder〈=en if you use the steam version it wil update automatically step two: download the addons manual here from one of these links if you live in europa http://uk1.dayz.nu/latest/ http://se1.dayz.nu/latest/ for the us http://us2.dayz.nu/latest/ and the beta patch here http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ step three: now we first start arma 2 into the game menu than close it then start your arma 2 Ao to the menu and close it. step five: now make a new folder and name it @dayz open the folder and make a new folder in there call it addons put the addons that you downloaded in the addons map. if you have done that there should be 14 files in step six: now you go to your game folder for the steam user it wil be in F:\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead for me it says F:\ because i have installed my game on a diffent Drive for you it should be C:\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead if you installed your game on C drive now for the non steam user its similar just go to your arma 2 operation arrowhead directory step 7: now we put your @dayz folder in the arma 2 operation arrowhead map when you have done that instal the beta patch as administrator right click on the patch setup and click the administrator thingy and it should instal when you done that it will place a shortcut in your main game directory so go back to your arma 2 operation arrowhead map and put the shortcut to your desktop now start your game whit the beta patch and go to the expansion menu click there your Dayz and @dayz on and your ready to play i hope this will make it easy for you guys and that i explain it well for you all Arma 2 Reinforcements Has Stopped Working The solution is here !!! http://dayzmod.com/f...e__hl__appcrash

hello guys em andries i play alot of Dayz but also the Normale Arma 2 OA game. since the last few updates i was getting the Crash to desktop the Appcrash it was a pain in the ass to find a working solution but i found it its realy simpel all you have to do is reinstall your game so its all fresh and delete the battle eye client in your appdate for the peeps dont know where to find that its in C:\Users\andries\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA i dont know where you can find it if you still using the old win xp but this is where you find it on win 7. the solution 1 when you have done your fresh install dont instal dayz yet or the beta patches!!! First start the operation arrowhead game and join a server and play walk around or what ever till your battleeye client is updated then close your game 2 back up your battle eye. the one that is in the expansion map F:\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye and the one that is in the AppData C:\Users\andries\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA now once you done that you can install Dayz and the patches and when ever you feel like to play the normale game 3 simply put the backuped files back in overwrite it and you can play arma 2 OA fine :D it worked for me and my clan mates :D now if you want to play Dayz and you get the message battle eye ini failed or something just reinstal the beta patch and you can join the dayz server np and in order to play the normale arma game again you just have to repeat step 3 till they fix it or some one find a better working solution stick to this it works 100% for me and my mates so it should do the same for you guys Let Me know if it worked for ya
