I did this earlier today. This is happening after the update.

battle eye kicked for corrupted memory error #0?

I've been seeing a lot of this on my server for the past hour or so. It just kicked like 30 players off for this.

Out of bounds item/vehicles cleanup [2012-07-06]

    I approve of this post!

Admin abuse - What you need to know

Unfortunately I never read something like "Thank you server hoster for giving us the chance to collect so much data/feedback and help to make this mod even bigger" or "Thank you server hoster for providing so many slots to us players for free" I feel you, but DayZ is not the first, nor only game I host. I've seen this in most any game. I think anyone that plays DayZ should have to read Disgraced's message signature: "The first rule of Chernarus: DO NOT get attached to your gear. You will lose it to server errors, bugs, zombies, other players, hackers, werewolves, aliens, mystics, sasquatch, lunar eclipses and unforeseen sinkholes. You will NOT KEEP YOUR GEAR LONG. Face it." I love that.

Admin abuse - What you need to know

Thanks for the post, Zoop! My thoughts exactly. Also, remember to apply Moore's Law to anything "glitchy" when it comes to DayZ. It is still ALPHA and should be taken with a grain of salt. We should all be thankful that Rocket and the DayZ devs have allowed this to be developed and tested openly so that we can explore this mod as it's developed and help give feedback to make it an even bigger success.
  6. What I have done for mine is to set CPU for 6 and the exThreads for 6 as well. I have experimented with this a bit to find the "sweet spot" in performance tuning. (This is still ongoing) When I have left the exThreads set at the default 1 for "autodetect" I have found that the memory seems to run away and consumes a huge amount of memory for no good reason. when I specify exThreads for just 6 or 7, this problem does not exist.
  7. Yes, but the problem seems to exist server side. Do you get this error with every server you try to connect to or is it one or a select few? The problem was brought to my attention by some regulars on my server and I had the same problem connecting as well. The fix in my case was what I described in my previous post.
  8. This problem popped up on my server, (US 47) and I tried bumping the server instance a few times to no avail. What ended up fixing the problem for me was to reinstall the Microsoft Viasual C++ Redistributable again from the server setup instructions. 10) Download and install http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=29 2008 Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package's As soon as I had reapplied this to the server and brought up my DayZ instance again, the problem was gone. Hope this helps some of you!

    In game watch de-synch

This time drift occurs on my server every day. It's the primary reason I bump my server a few times a day to get the time of day back in sync.
  10. I don't know if anyone has given this response yet as a fix. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to read all 44 pages of the thread. I encountered this problem with my server, US 47 and the way I fixed it was to run the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributale on the server again. 10) Download and install http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=29 2008 Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package's As soon as I did this and brought the server instance up again, the problem was gone. Hope this helps some of the server operators squash this problem.
