My development server is up and running with the dev branch.

I am getting this ready to put on my Development server right now. I will update with the server banner once it is live.

Can you get some video capture of this so we can see exactly what's going on? You're the first person that has made mention of this, so for now we can only assume it's isolated to you. Have you tried deleting your @DayZ folder and reinstalling to be sure you do not have any corrupted files? Or just using the Steam validate on DayZ Mod.

Okay, my development server is up with the changes made to the temperature system. The values from the 1.8.5 change log are running. Please jump on and test the settings out so we can determine if they need further refinement. The server is locked until we get the Dev Build files up on steam for those wanting to help test.

I'm going to do some more tuning of the temperature system and run it on my test server. If any of you would like to help balance it let me know and we can work on fine tuning it. EDIT: I will start by loading the new values R4Z0R49 posted in the 1.8.5 change log.

Depending on your server provider, they should have backups so they can restore your server back to a certain time or day.

Making a private server hive "reset" is no easy task. You would have to purge it of any and all records for players, vehicles and deployables. There is no, "Ooops, I pressed one wrong button and now it's all wiped out." Unless of course they did actually wipe the server and database install and do a whole clean install of everything.

The temperature system is not making the game that much harder. If you're looking around in buildings for loot or getting into vehicles or running around the map you will have no trouble staying warm. If you're way out in the map in the wilderness setting up a camp it may make it a little harder, but nothing that a fire can't fix or going for a run to a town for more supplies. DayZ, after all, is a SURVIVAL game. Getting cold in in a city or in the wilderness is one of the biggest factors of survival in real life. Why not have it in a game about surviving??

I have two 100-slot vanilla DayZ Mod server I run that are in need of players. If more are coming from SA to the mod, I say bring it on! I can always add more server instances and my servers are hived together so you can jump from one to the other with your gear.

Can you test this with me on my server some time? I know players get bandit skins just fine, but I have yet to see hero skins applied to players with high humanity.

I noticed this today as well. There is something still messed up with the humanity system. Cannot get a hero skin no matter how high humanity is.

Is anyone else experiencing this? When I try to find any game servers through the steam server browser, not one server shows up. This combined with none of the other DayZ Mod server browser/launchers have updated to support 1.8.4/1.8.4.1 is going to be a death blow to the mod.

What are the default settings you are going with on your hive? I would be all for this to get my server utilization up. I have the hardware and bandwidth capacity to run 100 slot on each of my 2 vanilla servers. (As currently configured)
