I think it would actually be cool if it took into account what time of the year it is. So ther would be longer nights in winter, shorter ones in summer.

I simply think it is uneccessary, I don't like the idea of zombie kids and can very well live without it and I really don't see why it would be such a great addition to the game. It's not like i wouldn't buy the game if they did include it though. Sure you might say it'd only be realistic but the virus could be very well simply be leathal on children and even old people, due to their fragile/not so strong immune systems.

Always with the accuracy skill... it's a gun, you point and shoot. It's really not that hard. Besides it's just something to give people that have survived longer a way to get the upper hand on new spawns really. It's not realistic.

Also doesn't really work while you're holding a gun, as you don't stay in that position, not sure wether that's intentional though.

I think they should stick with DayZ, it's a brand name now and I don't see why they should change it. DayZ is DayZ and DayZ Mod is DayZ Mod.

I think he's talking about a simple roadblock, might make sense really. The city might have been under lockdown due to quarantine because of the infection, so leaving the city might have been restircted.

Like I mentioned, I think it should rather be 'balanced' thorugh the means of fuel being very rare. You could basicially get 2/3 of the vehicles repaired to a state where they could dirve if only they had any fuel, besides how are you supposed to get your car off of that highway anyway if it's in the middle of all those other cars? lol

No thank you, completly ruins the atmosphere. You're supposed to feel alone in the wilderness, how do you do that with idiots spamming the side chat? Radios will be added at some point, if anything, side chat should only work through that. Only people with the radio turned on and on the same frequency should be able to read/hear what's being said. Only way this is gonna work, in my opinion.

I just meant that it should be realistic/authentic and not just slam a safety on every weapon there is. Most Semi- and Full-Auto weapons have a savety though and I think it would be nice if they added a savety in as just another 'fire mode', because that's what it's likemost of the time in real life.

As people before have pointed out, these are infected and not zombies so there is no 'decay' really. Though Rocket has also said that the Infected will have different states varying on when they last 'fed' on something. So a well nourished Infected will run after you like an athlet but a malnourished one might simply crawl on the floor.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by 'not every car should be drivable'. But I actually think that they should all be repairable, maybe except for a few burned out cars. It just seems silly to me that there should be that many car wrecks and nothing you can do with them at the very least you should, like suggested, take car wheels of off them. In a zombie apocalypse, broken down cars and even perfectly fine(drivable) cars should be plentyfull, the thing that should be lacking would be fuel. Maybe some cars are wrecked but still have fuel in them? So you can, with the right tools, extract fuel from broken down cars. I find it funny how apache25 is slowly becoming an insider meme of the suggestion forum. lol

I acutally think it's not such a bad idea. But I'm not sure every weapon would have a savety on it, I'm really not a gun geek. But I, for some reason, cannot imagine a double barel shotgun with a safety. lol

That's mostly because people hoard vehicles, especially clans. They just hoard them and don't even use them, hide them away in their camps or off the map.

1. No. 2. Why would it make sense that a map you find inside a supermarket would have markers on it? It doesn't. 3. Animantions will be more fluid in the standalone, for the mod it's probably not going to get much better. Why should they zig, zag? They're not exactly the most clever creatures around. 4. Not a big fan of the Molotov, I just don't see a good use for it but I guess why not... 5. No goals in this game except surviving.

No stealth kills please, they're the worst stuff I've ever seen in a video game. This isn't Metal Gear, it works there but not in anyother game that tries to be remotely realistic. If anything you should be able to use people as human shield, I could see that happening but stealth kills? No.

How many uses do you suggest until it breaks? I really don't think it would matter because you usually don't live that long anyway and making it just a few uses would just be ridiculous.

Actually Rocket already said all of that will make it into the standalone eventually.

Dude... you should really stop spamming. 1. Most of what you suggested has been posted before, as Miller has pointed out 2. If you post a suggestion, don't just post a list of things without adding any detail to any of them Other people post only one Idea and write ten times more about that than you do about ten ideas. I'm not saying you shouldn't post ideas but if you do so at least make it worth reading. Besides, you really need to give your threads more accurate titles so people know what your thread is about before opening it.
