This is like those people that think their are a specific set of rules regarding to what zombies would be like. The answer is also an almost certain no. Despite what most teenagers chose to believe, the chances of a virus being spread the way it is in movies is almost impossible. Transferring a virus through saliva into a blood stream would be near on impossible. If a virus that gave us a bad fever and fried our brain, it would most likely be transferred the same as a common cold, but even then, when 1 person gets a cold, the whole world doesn't get it do they? So it pretty much disproves zombies.

I stopped playing a few days ago after I realised that DayZ is not heading in the right direction at all. Play the 'Chernarus Apocalypse" mission on arma and you'll realise that DayZ is merely a huge deathmatch with zombies in our way.

I think this game has MUCH bigger problems than snipers with .50 cals. Hackers, duping, but most of all zombies aren't a threat. Who actually uses their .50 cal, LMG's or thermal scoped weapons to take out zombies? No one, we all use our side arms. What does that mean for the game then? Well that means that zombies are 1. WAY too underpowered 2. Clearly not a threat if everyone uses their side arms to kill them. .50's also aren't what makes the game unrealistic, it's a combination of things, this is only a tiny bit of it.

In my experience, AS50 is more like a 15%-20% chance at crash sites. I've not duped anything in about a month, and I had not 1, but 2 SVD camo's in my truck the other day, along with an AS50, M107, Mk48, L85 and several other rare weapons. None of which were duped, and we didn't exploit to get them. Get good.

Don't take them out. Make them extremely rare. And if you knew anything, you'd know their at heli crash sites, which actually makes sense, doesn't it?

So because they have nothing on them, they deserve to live? This is what annoys me. People that have no gear that run around and get mad when a sniper kills them. Either play like you've got god tier loot and get your loot properly, or you will be killed. And don't try telling me you don't deserve to be killed just because you have nothing.

Wrong. Rocket has said on these forums that if you have a hacked weapon on you, and the dev team are doing a check on random players and they come across you with a hacked weapon, you will be banned, no questions asked. I'm not going to bother with this anymore though, because you only want to hear what you believe yourself, and you're wrong.

When you get a global ban, don't complain mate. You think that because you got jacked you're entitled to a hacked in weapon, when you're not. You instantly have the best gun in the game, and you have the upper hand on every single legit player in DayZ. You may as well be a hacker.

The dev team do checks on players in DayZ quite a bit, if you so happen to be one of the people they check and they find a thermal AS50 on you, you will get a global ban. Do not drop it somewhere a player can find it, because shit could turn bad and everyone in DayZ could have thermal AS50's, so just dump it on a dead zombie and hide the body.

Poor you. I got killed by a guy with god mode last night. Had an L85 equipped and an SVD Camo in my coyote. I had everything.

The leader also uses hacks to locate vehicles and people. Don't ever join Omega-6 unless you're looking for your enjoyment of dayz to be halved

Omega-6, You mean the group that has several hackers in it that use hacks to find players, vehicles and several other things, and also ban people from their sever when you guys get killed? Why would anyone want to join that?

I haven't played this game pretty much every day for 2 months because I'm a 'fanboy'. I have because I enjoy it.

There is little way to find out if a hacker spawned it in or not. My story went like this. We spent a whole night fixing up a heli, and flew it to fill it up. Once we'd filled it up we decided we better head off to bed, so we left it way up north. We came back the next day to see it was still there, so we headed off. After flying over some camps, writing down co-ords we decided we'd start raiding them, as I came in to land suddenly the entire server of only 7 people died, except BroBro. We were extremely mad we'd only flown our baby for half an hour and I went out to dinner while they headed up to raid these camps by foot. I came back from dinner expecting they'd found some good shit. They did, and they'd filled it all into a Ural, and they were heading to pick me up. I spawned in and I was at elektro. I wanted a Kamenka spawn so I ran over a little hill near that petrol station on the west side of town, and there it was, a helicopter. I ran over to it but I was confident that it would need to be repaired again. It didn't. Everything was fully green, and it had a full tank of fuel. Needless to say, I took it and I honestly don't care whether it was hacked in or not because a hacker killed all of us and destroyed our helicopter. We found 2 more busses, a tractor, and 2 more camps before the server reset and we lost it. We honestly weren't that mad though because it became very clear how unreliable helicopters are in DayZ. Hackers get mad and kill you, and server restarts can end all your hard work in seconds. tl;dr. hacker killed us and destroyed our heli, I spawned in later that night and there was a heli 50 meters from my spawn point.

It's simple. Now, we kill the batman.
