I was getting kicked aswell. This fixed it for me.
1.Launch steam as admin.
2. Right click on Arma 2-->properties-->local files-->verify integrity of game cache.
3.Repeat with Arma 2 OA.
4.Launch Arma 2, close it. Launch Arma OA, close it.
5. Launch your game through sixupdater/steam. Should work now.

How did you fix this? Started getting this problem today aswell.

It seems that I somehow have multiple save files/characters. I only have one copy of ARMA II/OA. It first occured once 1.7.2 was implemented.
Date/Time: Tuesday 10th July 2012
What happened: Some servers load my character that is in Balota and other servers load my character that is in Cherno. It's random.
Where you were: One character was in Balota another in Cherno.
What you were doing: Gathering supplies.

yup i have the same problem. Using DayZ Commander doesn't seem to fix it.
