Honestly, your whole arguement is invalid due to battleyes recent activity the last month(banwaves every 2 days) I somewhat like your idea of developing your own, its cool and all. I dont know you personally, i dont know your qualifications, but anti-cheat software is not an easy task to develop, it takes months to years to develop something that is on-par with what there is out there now. Moreover, something "newly" created within a few months, is not very likely to be contracted. A new "beta" or "Alpha" anti cheat software is more likely bound to cause issues in its testing period, then something already tested and certified(BE, PB, VAC, Gameguard) etc etc. I hope to see your team and your software in the years to come, and actually be good and worthwhile, we could use more choices out there, but "soon" is not a very accurate statement or timeframe to relay

Never had a single issue joining servers. I check how many servers run which version with day z commander, and then i update manually depending on that. Usually over 60% of all servers run the same version

Should be fixed now, i havent recieved any bans. Battleye began fixing it 2 days ago, and people have slowly been unbanned since then.

Backstory - We had repaired a helicopter and were flying around having fun. We desynced, and i(i was flying) got kicked for high ping, which caused the chopper to crash. I logged back in, i was alive on the ground where i disconnected. My buddies were dead on the ground where these 5 guys were trying to loot them. The reason i cant see a helicopter wreck, was because i was disconnected while the crashed. When i logged back in, the wreck wasnt there.

I wasn't aware that it was theirs until later, as i said, i disconnected while flying, it crashed, they died and chopper blew up. But when i came back in, i saw no crash, no smoke or anything. I had no idea where they crashed. Which is why the video is named Suspense takes on 5, i obviously did not kill my friends.

Thats one hell of a good job you did there, except, i think you forgot virustotal is of absolutely no use when the program creates out and ingoing connections AFTER opening it. Prove it with code, and i will believe you. Until you do, you have no understanding of this, and that is clear(mind you, this is not an offense towards you, a lot of people trust virustotal with their life, if you have no technical understanding of this, you are just one more guy spewing random nonsense) On top of that, this release you posted info from, is 4.3mb smaller then the compromised release, he could have modified it after he was banned, i havent checked the newest release yet.

Day Z staff has nothing to do with battleye, battleye bans are not reverseable, go buy a new game. battleye.com, go there.

Problem is, IP and hwid bans are not fair ways of disposing of people, innocents will be hurt. A lot of computers are resale. And ips are dynamic

You can easily bypass hardware bans.

Its how x split works if you use screen region lol. Sure, you could pay for something like Dxtory or use gamesource, but that might not be optimal for everyone.

Battleye do not do hwid bans

Set it to windowed and pull the edges, if you cant pull the edges(happens sometimes) then edit the resolution to match in the config

Your cd key is registered as a hashed value in your registry, when you connect to a BE server, BE reads the hash and created a GUID based on this, this is your "CD key identifier" in BE's eyes, when you change your CD key in the registry, your guid will differ when connecting to a server, this allowing you in.
