Delete the ArmA 2 folder in your "My documents" folder, and reopen the game.

No game is gonna be 100% realistic, that would be boring. Its to hit a good midway between having to actually care and think about having something to eat and drink, and at the same time, not bother the player with it every 5 minutes. It just wouldnt be fun if you only had to eat every 14 days, and drink every 5

Dont expect to get any help around here, you arent supposed to modify the files. And even if you did, you are likely not gonna be able to join any servers

Its not nothing to do with your graphical settings. Like i already said, object cleanup is broken which destroys the framerate on some servers.

Its due to object cleanup being borked, theres nothing you can do about it but wait until Rocket releases a new patch that will fix it. Alternatively, you can try and find a server that havent been running for too long.

The companies that rents them? Its not cheap to host and run servers. You end up dedicating hardware to said person which locks it and takes up available slots you have to rent to other people, then theres the eletricity bill and the bandwidth bill, along with support, set up, maintenance of the renters site and features to manage the servers. I have my own racks at a datacenter that i rent out game hosting on, and even my personal "stash" which isnt even big, wrecks up a 9000$ eletricity bill over 6 months. Along with that, ArmA 2 isnt very effective to host. It requires very good hardware for what it is.

Very very weird. Try and run each game .exe as administrator, if that dont solve it i am slightly lost. You could try and delete the whole registry folder(the arma one obviously) and relaunche the game and see if it re-creates, this MIGHT render the game useless unless you reinstall. Not all games are able to just rewrite to registry

Doesnt matter if everyone sees it. Its an alpha, people are supposed to find loopholes in order for them to get fixed. Just go report it.

The server logs does not contain much information apart from a timestamp of when someone disconnected(if they left the lobby) Most servers that ban for people disconnecting in most of the time require video proof of the incident, where they can compare the time of the disconnect on video with the time of the disconnect in the logs, and then find the person. This is the closest you can really get to accurate proof, so thats what we have to go with.

I dont know if you guys are using Sixlauncher or not, if you are, you updated to 1.7.2.2 today, the error you all are experiencing is becuase you are joining a server that is running an older version of the mod, or are messing some files on the server. The only way for this to get fixed is for you to join the correct version server, and for the server owners to correctly update their servers to 1.7.2.2

ArmA 2 wasnt made for indoor combat thus only a bunch of buildings are actually enterable. Its a big job to make more buildings enterable as those buildings needs to be modeled on the inside aswell, dont expect to to happen anytime soon.

I dont see how it will reduce murders, or why I as a bandit should rob them instead. Implementing a logout timer and animation that you can not exit out of, would be a terrible idea. And if you are able to exit out of it, it would be pure stupidity to go up to someone and rob them. I would shoot them instead, since they would be dead on the ground even after logging out, then take whathever they had.

I am not sure if the latest client arma 2 beta patch is backwards compatible, if it is, just download the 1.7.2 DayZ files. If the client patch isnt backwards compatible, you will need to reinstall ArmA2.

The CD key is stored in a registry key when you install the game. In order to use 2 keys, you need to either create a .bat file to overwrite the current registry key, or manually do it everytime you switch around.

Most people here dont realise how powerful the ArmA 2 editor is and sdk is. You can quite literally do anything.
