would you not end up sitting in a vent....(or a bush for that matter :P ) but on topic this has much more scope for a mmofps then planetside 2 (which I play) insofar as attachment to character and possible RP elements.... not like oh...i died, lets respawn at the bio lab north tele room and use my T1-S with +1 underbarrel nade launcher again

ohhh....intresting...although standalone is soon (we hopes, yes my prescious...we hopes) but might be fun to try, what about servers...many?

I stick to my original OLD post....Bring the wipe! (although now we are close so I can say bring the standalone! w00t)

thinking about this too, what happens say when a "friendly" non pvp server is hosted by say a provider with multiple people hosting from then (aka villayer or somthing)... basicly means you can gear up in peace with admins kicking/banning anyone that trys to kill you...then pop off over to a diffrent server (same map and host though) and start shoot ppl with your "hard" owned guns and ammo etc...

players can come up as red or green dots (think it depends on the skin they use) white is zombie and also can be wildlife.

heh I got banned from one of those servers, not even killing anyone but claiming that there was no point to the game after my friend got banned (He killed another player?!) and going off on a little rant about it :) but yeah they pay for it so let them run it, of course if they get alot of traffic thats another matter

if its a private hive (which it was if hosting namalsk) then they pay for it themselves and not much you can do about it...best thing, post the name of it....and never go back it gets a bad rep and ppl dont go, then they end up playing with themselves :0

its a good idea, but zombies spawn in, and that draws attention... I remember defending the factory while we had a hele parked on the roof in for repairs, thats a nice place, if you could secure it from zombies and woodland snipers

people are playing but yeah alot waiting for standalone (myself included) but still go on time to time.....also planetside 2 is out now :) (although loads of problems with that)

resurected this thread from long time ago eh... soldier skin is not on offical hive (and dont belive its on private?) only camo/ghilli/bandit/hero/default skins

What about diffrent wigs? of course would need new clothes too then!

if you came across him, while he was standing that close to the buildings (and was there first) then when/if he logged the zombies should have despawned with him.

yeah basicly above, if your using dayz commander, try setting it to offica hive only (then its all the same) or try typing in vilayer or other private hives that have many servers up (need to be same map ofc)

I got kicked once for the same thing, was just running across the map to link up with the group, lucky no ban just a kick from the server plugins....of course if you argue this (as I did when reconnected) you get accused of hacking :/ and 100% of the time I have no sympathy for hackers but this could be the only false positive I can think of? (although on UK#10 you get kicked everytime you die for some reason)

cant we just use dayz commander for this....and our browsers for the internets....meh is my feeling about this....but your welcome to use it yourself while I dont now I have to respond to an vital email about a lost relative of mine involved in a plane crash in nigeria

just rebind a key in the options....or rtfm?

two of us shot at a boat in panthera with a guy inside, the boat didnt explode, but basicly started sinking into the water (like when you hide the bodies etc) left the passenger swiming towards our guns

I still find myself agreeing with the op, even though i cant fly well (I can take off/land and go point a to B) but choppers would be cool if u can adjust the flight controls in 1st person ie that video, although landing in 1stperson might be harder :P

dont forget if somone crashed it might take up to 9 days to respawn at the island.....and if u dont grab it then....someone else will (and crash it)
