where can i download the latest version? http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php when i click "The latest ver" there is an error "server unavailable" where to download it?

doesn't work for me. wtf mb some1 can upload the latest patch to some fileserver?

before the fps fixing patch i had like 5-20 fps all the time after the fix it was rather better - 55-60 in every town/location now new patch came out. i enter the game...aaaand. 10 fps. TEN fps. I can run top games with maximum settings with 50-60 fps. Arma with low-mid settings gives me 5-10 fps. cool. nothing to say

hey guys i am totally new to arma and i wanted to ask - are there any other very popular and interesting mods to play? i don't see a lot of people playing on "standart" servers (usually just several servers are populated) or arma 2 is just nearly dead and people just play dayz and nothing more?

this is really frustrating yesterday i saw a bandit running and followed him. waited tioll he stopped. came close to him from behind and shot 5 times (3 in head 2 in his back) he was still standing. second later he continued running and stopped like 5 meters away. i came close again and shot 6 times again. 1 sec later he disappeared and appeared like 2 meters away and he was looking at me.. he shot 2 times and i was dead. that is so fucking frustrating ping was 13. if it is not low ping i don't know what is

after latest patch there is a problem when i spawn (new character) he shakes, anearly all the icons on the right side (food drink etc) are red tempval is 0 the screen shakes seriously what is it?

i use the latest 1584 version today there was a lot of errors "server is using 1583(2) version blabla" but now there is no errors. just this bug( and i can't play

Life is not valuable now. At all. It's so easy to get all the needed loot after you die so there's in fact no need in surviving. I know a lot of ppl do the following - after they die they go to a big city (elektro for example) go to (for example) church - loot it. then disconnect. go to other server. loot it again. then disconnect. go to other server....till they get all the needed loot (it takes 10-10 mins) and now they have everything the had before they died. What's the reason to survive? Why is it so easy to get all the needed loot? I think in a game like that the loot (especially good and top weps and so) must be extremely rare. You must be very happy to find something useful. Now it is "oh f*ck this banded killed me. Now i have to waste another 30 min to collect everything again!" and again about the weps - yesterday i enterned the barn and found 7! (SEVEN) weapons in 2 minutes. wtf? is it really interesting to play like this? yesterday it was like "well i found so much shit how can i take it all..." and it must be ' OH MY GOSH I FOUND A WEAPON I'M HAPPY LIKE A LITTLE BITCH" u don't feel like u are in post Apocalypse world when u play i think. something must be changed. I suggest decreasing loot A LOT and increasing the value of ur life im not whining or complaining or something. i like the mod as it is. but i think it can be MUCH more interesting and funny to play. just wanted to know what u all guys think about all this.

And creating an even worse problem to solve the disconnect glitch would be a brilliant idea ... if u change servers once in 10 minutes - it will be a problem for u i connect to a server and play there for hours. maybe if my friend comes we go to another server sometimes. So i can change a server once in 3 hours maybe. It wont be a problem (for me0 If u jump like a monkey from server to server - it can really kill a game for u. agree

i don't like the idea of "bandit skins" at all it's not realistic it's TOTALLY unrealistic that when u see a guy u instansly know who he is - a good guy or a murderer i think we must decide whether to trust that guy or not. and who he is. and know people just look at skin and instantly shoot a guy if he is a bandit or maybe leave him alive if he is not it's not interesting i think. that game would be much better without all that

hi guys im a noob and i have a question i don't have a tent but i want to hide some my items so i can pick up new ones can i just throw my items in the forest for example? or they will disapper after i log off the game? and 1 more question - can i pick several 2 handed guns at once? i have like 5 free slots in my bag and it always drops my guns when im trying to pick up new one thx

it doesn't go to my back pack/ it goes to the main weapon slot. and if there is a weapon already - it just replaces it. it doesn't want to go to backpack( so i can't hide my items ? i found like 8 weapons in a barn. and can't pick even 2(( i have just to leave them there?((

just bought arma2 yesterday to play this mod and now i have a question now all the servers of dayZ are FULL and i wonder whether it is possible to make something like server queue? So we dont have to double click our favourite servers every second to have a chance to get it) thank u

i did i still hope that the developer will decide to create his own game (not as arma mod) with 200-300 people at the server and new ideas)
