Well if it stood for "Zed" or "Zombie", I imagine the mod would be called "ZDay" instead of "DayZ". I mean "Day Zero" makes sense and "Zed/Zombie Day" would make sense,but given the order of the letters... I vote for Z == Zero. Hell, it isn't called "DayOfTheZ", right? =-P Drop your guns and place your backpack on the ground or its back to day zero for you!
