    Hello everyone. I've setup a vanilla DayZ 1.8.2 Server using DayZ Control Center for private games with some friends. Everything I've set up is working so far except the ViewDistance. It is still stuck with the DayZ default of 1600. Searching the web I found out that I should change it somewhere inside the mission file, but I've failed to locate it, yet. Can anyone please hint me to the file's location and what to change inside this file? Much thanks in advance, McFarlane

    Hi DayZ Team, I didn't play for like 3 or 4 days and just recognized I am starting on the coastline with a new character. Did you do some resets? Last time I disconnected I was lying happily in a forest with a fully stocked character :( Player Name: McFarlane Player ID: 14438981 Can you tell me what happened and if you can reset my character? (If you can't reset it, I still would like to know why I died while not playing) Thanks, McFarlane Nevermind. I just connected to another server and had my old character back. Strange. Has this happened to anyone before?
