I am also fine with 3rd person view. Just give us the possibility to play on HC/1st person only servers and everything will be fine. DayZ ist THAT game where you can play the way you like it. 1st person, 3rd person, KoS-bandit, vampire-bandit, whatever.

Default FOV is 90.

Try to set the priority of the DayZ process higher in the task manager.

As a developer, I understand it like other people said. It's a design decision that you will regenerate blood naturally now (edit: in certain circumstances). Seems like it didn't before.

Hello everyone, yesterday the only thing I've downloaded were the archive files on the SWE mirror and the Arma 2 Beta Patch (and no, I didn't download any patch files for three weeks). Today I started my PC getting a ThreatFire message with a file that want's to copy itself a few times into different directories. Can't find this message anymore, I blocked the process and I'm cleaning the system right now. My operating system is on C\ the folder (with an exe file inside) was created on E\, called "e5d4106e8faeb86aa9cd37645cd8". While trying to open the folder, the virus want's to get access and change security options (highest risk). Now I have this one question - was there any file infected or maybe the mirror itself?

Well, I have one question. I used the dayzwiki a few days ago. There is no HOLO weapon listed. I saw two players with a M4A1 HOLO weapon in game (both bandits I've killed before - they didn't play together, different times so). I knew there was a chance that these people were cheaters. What would happen if I had picked up the HOLO weapon? Instant ban after logout/saving? I didn't try it and never will it.

Make first available while the Alpha is going on. And the second is nice, too.

No Zombies = no loot spawn (except bags). Saw that often.

Hi there, I'm software engineer that's why I had to register to report my real annoying problem. Edit: Just to clarify. My topic is NOT related to other "no Zombies AND no loot" topics. I found loot every time I have joined a server. Date/Time: two days ago, one day ago, last night - doesn't matter What happened: I'm playing now for 3 days (this one is the 3rd). Every time I'm going to join a server (no matter which one) I don't see any Zombies. My Debug Monitor says "Zombies: 0", EVERYTIME. I redownloaded and replaced the dayz files but nothing changed. While I'm playing alone, I neither see nor hear (a) Zombie(s). While I'm playing with one other guy we neither see nor hear (a) Zombie(s). Last night (European Time) we played with four people - the other three guys saw and heard the Zombies. I didn't. Where you were: All over the map. In houses, outside, in towns on the streets.. What you were doing: Just playing Current installed version: the actual (1.5.6) Server(s) you were on: DE2, DE4, EU2, EU4, EU10, ... Your system specs: Windows 7 x64 AMD Phenom II X6 ASUS HD7770 8GB DDR3-RAM Internet connection: 16k (never have/had any problems with it) Timeline of events before/after error: I don't really understand whether this matters or not I hope you can help me figuring out what to do to get rid of this bug.

Hell.. I like it. I shot one Zombie with Sniper and didn't realise the Zombie count. After two kills 10 Zombies came to me..

Well, yesterday I've replaced all files again and.. Now I see the Zombies and my Debug Monitor is correct. Dunno what was wrong.
