People that kill on sight aren't bandits, we should stop calling them bandits. They are murderers, player killers (PK) or something else but a bandit. I helped people, killed them and raided camps. But always with a reason, for self preservation or for my group. Good story o/

I'm not a big fan of the 3rd person thing, but I understand. Also thumbs up for being a bandit like a bandit should be. Killing people when you have them in your sights for no reason at all is not banditry, that's just murdering people :/

I think you mean 1.7.2.3 ? But me and my friends are waiting as well. Seems server is down for awhile now.

I know it's hard to start out or raid a town now, but it should be hard like that, you should fear the infected. If you want to go into a city and PK people, you should have fear of hordes of infected going after you when you make to much noise. I'm having a blast going into towns and shooting infected off of us when we go on a raid. Stock up on ammo, be careful, be aware and never be afraid to use your weapon.

1.7.2 seems fine to me. We need more bullets since we aggro the infected more, but it has a positive effect on my gameplay eperience. I was wearing camo before this patch and lost it, you shouldn't really care that much about gear. What are you going to do when you get all geared up again ? Logout and never come back, you might lose your gear :D Play the game, have fun dispite the bugs/glitches. Get a group together and go out on ops/raids, me and my friends are having a blast.

Use flares, chemlights and other means ?

I love this update, the engine seems to do it's thing way smoother. Infected warping around though, but that's something I learned to adapt to. Whenever the have smooth pathing would be like a nice summer breeze :D I also noticed a lot of desyncing while playing with groups, but that might be jsut server sided. Also it takes more bullets to take an infected down, but that might've been poor aiming on our part. I like it so far, good job.

Yesterday we were on DE77 going for a military camp in Berezino. We spotted a person going into the tents and we debated amongst ourselves as to what to do. We kept sights on him and he clearly knew we were there keeping tabs on him. He did not try to communicate with us, so it soon became a hostile situation: Us fearing for our lives that he was trying to get his mates to help him out, he fearing we were about to take him out. Zombies kept aggroing him and we saw him passing out a lot of the times and I felt a bit sorry for him to be honest. Maybe we would've helped him if he cried out for peace or a cry for help even. We decided after roughly 15 minutes to come down and shoot the zombies around the tent where he was still in and see what the intentions were. And finally went in for the kill. You had on you excellent loot: Engine parts, fuel parts, cool weapons, Alice pack (Which I did take.) and last but not least: Antibiotics <3 Every other scumbag would have left the server to come back another day to save his loot. You sir, have earned my respect and that of our whole clan for not logging out and standing your ground. You are a hero in my book, and next time when we meet I hope it will be another glorious moment in Dayz, be it an epic firefight or an attempt for peace and trust. GG
