Been a long time player of ofp and arma2 and i'm a vet of CTI and warfare. Here are some military tips for evading other players and general combat, for the total noob. 1. Paranoia will keep you alive, think of your virtual life as your real life and you only get one of those. 2. Intel is vital, observe before you engage. 3. If it looks like movement, go prone. 4. If you hear a cracking, whizzing(gunfire) sound, go prone. 5. Always be aware of where you are, trees you can move to and defilades* you can hide behind. 6. Stay invisible until you are ready to fire, don't change position excessively and when you do, always move to another position of cover never out in the open. 7. Don't stand on a hill with the main light source behind you, if at night, don't stand with the moon behind you. This will create an obvious silhouette. 8. Relocate when someone finds your position, or if your muzzle flashes are visible. 9. Relocate after a few shots, to keep enemies guessing on your position. 10. In pairs or more, learn how to provide cover fire and flank manoeuvres. Don't just sit at one place and aim in the same direction. * A defilade is a landscape feature that blocks line of sight/fire. Well hope that helped, add any more if you think they are needed.

try running cmd as administrator or logging in to full admin account to do it. Don't do it over network drives or shares.

It may help you to learn how scripts are written, it makes the dialogue easier to read. You start by setting the location and the time of day. Then you write a brief action that a character does in this scene, but don't put everything in the action text. The framing of the scene and the way the individual characters act is up to the Director. Then you tab in, > > > > and in caps write the NAME and then in normal case the dialogue they are speaking INT - Interior location EXT - Exteror location INT - BARN - DAY - Scene 4 Andy passes some NV goggles to Dave >>tab>>> ANDY "Here you go man, Take these." >>tab>>> DAVE "Thanks. At least I don't have to keep using that annoying flashlight." With these scenes in chunks, it will be easier to make a storyboard and then film each scene for editing. You can also film out of sequence, as long as you know which number order the scenes go in you can put it back together. I can provide my English/media studies experience and I can do various voices if you need them. -

30 yo from UK, playing flying stick since Flashpoint and CTI matches. my first heli game was LHX attack chopper, that's how long I've been gaming haha. not interested in getting an advantage over anyone so I will go with just an axe.

There needs to be a design > release cycle drawn up. Right now it looks like the creator is doing busywork just adding things only to remove them again. My cycle is parse suggestions > add workable suggestions > compile > test > package and release -

Have you played the military portion of arma 2? Because it gives you some good training. DayZ Commander shows current time in list. -
Count that as a loss and move on, I'm not even sure if the keys there would be legit.. maybe stolen. Buy from steam during the sales or buy from the official site, which is here https://store.bistudio.com/ Nah, steam doesn't let you enter a key. It's locked to the sale/download you made through steam. Some games you can enter a key(for example GFWL), steam lets you copy to clipboard for that. In the case of ARMA, its fixed to your personal copy.

Soo, I skipped a few posts but can someone tell me how blood regen works now? You auto regen when full of food? Is this 175 version ready yet or just in testing? If so when is the rough/approx ETA? I think you should adjust the random chances things run out or break, and instead put in a number (integer) to keep track of how many matches are left. So when a match box is created it has random(1-40) matches in it. I also only think axes and melee weapons should only have a chance to break when their uses (ammo) is under 25% Can you please remove, or at least have toggle options for any on screen panels. I don't want on screen panels at all. -
Yeah I've brought this up before, I would like to see no cars and more melee weapons around the environment. Axe handle, cricket/baseball bats, spades and shovels. etc Along with no thermals.

I like the idea, it would mean people would get used to how people behave. In the rare instance something bad happens like a hacked account that person could be seen doing something out of the ordinary for their personality. I also like the system used in Star Trek Online which shows username@character name.. so even if the char name was changed, it would show the same user. -

Mechanic idea: Add rock paper scissors ability between you and up to 2 others. This would be a great way to decide who gets to stay on overwatch, etc

Well this could extend to other mini games. Such as a full pack of cards with realistic textures. Then you create a pile and place your cards in play in the pile. Or maybe dice, you choose 1-3 die and it gives a number 1-18 etc.
