Windows should always create itself as drive C: on the first drive listed in the BIOS boot order. If it is on D:, you may have 2 OS's installed by mistake in dual boot mode. Goto start > Run and type MSconfig and press enter In the Boot section, please list which OS's it detects and on what drives. If you are the only user on the PC and you installed it and set it up, you will likely be Administrator by default. You then need to create a second account with limited or full access.

Optical drive or physical drive? Dvd drives are usually handled by windows automatically and reading from them should give no error on a fresh install of windows. Go into your BIOS. Most of the time it is the DEL key on first boot screen, sometimes it is F2 or another key. Find the key to enter BIOS then go to your drive page, select the mode of your DVD drive make sure it is set to IDE, not AHCI. Double check the cables are plugged in at the back, then try installing the chipset driver from dvd first. If you cannot see a hard drive, windows may not have assigned a letter properly. Right click on Computer > manage then goto Disk management section, find the drive that is missing and right click on it then select Change Drive Letter and Paths. select a new drive letter. Hard drives start at C:, if you only have one hard drive and a dvd. the dvd will be D: in most cases. In very rare cases Windows likes to be smart and put the DVD drive assignment in the middle of 2 hard drives and the 2 hard drives being c: and e: or something like that, you can switch the letters around with this if you want.

Ramdisks do not help at all, unless you have 32gb of ram and decide to use 16gb to put a copy of windows in there. The ram is better used by the OS

Save up for a couple of paychecks then buy one. Unless you plan on going the sli/crossfire route with 2 cheapy but scalable cards. Though you will need a 650w or better PSU with up to 4 pci-e 6/8 pins for 2 cards 4gb ram is recommended too

Just make it Battle Royale so everyone starts with a single random item. Except it's not per spawn it's per hour. So however many spawns you make in 1 hour, you still get that same 1 item. Then after the hour it changes. Person A might get a MRE, Person B .. a spoon.

Is it the asus 1gb gddr5 graphics? I had that one it worked fine with arma. Use the following settings if possible AA off ATOC off post processing off view distance under 2500 video memory - default hdr low all other graphics settings (textures/shadows etc) on normal-high tops. your cpu and ram is a little older generation, it might be causing small bottlenecking issues as will any slower 5400 rpm drives. What power supply do you have?

I didn't really say there was abuse. I just thought that BB would be vanilla and unmodded and everyone would be on an equal level in regards to equipment and/or appearance but that that was not the case. Specifically the new buildings added and known only about by the people that added them (a fire station in Kamenka and many others) could be seen as a minor exploit. Perhaps I was just saddened I didn't get to see a secure server where people had actually left the damn code alone. Quote me saying admin abuse or shut the hell up. I said I left because the server was heavily modded, perhaps learning to read might help in understanding that.

BB are the same actually, I've seen some of the members/admins with special guns and skins and the server is heavily modded. It's why I left.

If you move the full contents over they will be merged/overwritten.. It's best to delete both games' addon folder and do a full check on steam to download them again.
