    OK then.. I hope the BB admins take some time to inform new members are aware of their special privileges and that they provide an updated map so that everyone knows the changes they have made. I hate arguing anyway. Lets be friends.

    Even though I didn't really say they were being physically or verbally abusive, check this out. Abuse Noun - The improper use of something. So I think modding the code without telling anyone = improper use. People weren't being assholes, they were still using power to get things that other people couldn't. I called it an exploit. I'm sorry if people implied that I meant they were being directly abusive. That is why I didn't say the word abuse, I just said they changed things and I didn't like it and left. OK? .

    Is it the asus 1gb gddr5 graphics? I had that one it worked fine with arma. Use the following settings if possible AA off ATOC off post processing off view distance under 2500 video memory - default hdr low all other graphics settings (textures/shadows etc) on normal-high tops. your cpu and ram is a little older generation, it might be causing small bottlenecking issues as will any slower 5400 rpm drives. What power supply do you have?

    x64 for 64bit, x86 is actually 32bit (named from the old 286, 386 days)

    I didn't really say there was abuse. I just thought that BB would be vanilla and unmodded and everyone would be on an equal level in regards to equipment and/or appearance but that that was not the case. Specifically the new buildings added and known only about by the people that added them (a fire station in Kamenka and many others) could be seen as a minor exploit. Perhaps I was just saddened I didn't get to see a secure server where people had actually left the damn code alone. Quote me saying admin abuse or shut the hell up. I said I left because the server was heavily modded, perhaps learning to read might help in understanding that.

    BB are the same actually, I've seen some of the members/admins with special guns and skins and the server is heavily modded. It's why I left.

    If you move the full contents over they will be merged/overwritten.. It's best to delete both games' addon folder and do a full check on steam to download them again.

    Even though I'm a fairly smart programmer, learn fast and have played games since DOS (yes I had to run setblaster) I still didn't know that slider feature existed because it is really new and I didn't see it until recently, So you see not everyone knows everything. Also don't be a jerk.

    To open the inventory is simple all you have to do is stand on one leg, flail your arms uncontrollably and sing an optimisitic, upbeat Disney song about princesses. Then a sprite will deliver you a backpack before disappearing in a cloud of sparkles. Don't forget to tickle the backpack and say the magic phase 3 times or you won't be able to open it. It's G if you have default key bindings, otherwise check your settings.

    900k and nothing? Try opening it with notepad++ or a hex editor. If they also show nothing the file might be 900k of spaces /CR's Try compressing it with 7zip, if it squeezes down to a few bytes, then it is just empty space. Test example with 38k of spaces gives a 209 byte 7z file If you are unsure send me the zipped file and I will analyse it.

    mklink uses junctions and yes they are very useful. Did you know windows uses junctions whenever you install new updates that have the same version/data in them? Instead of duplicating files it makes a junction back to the original file. For example direct X and visual C runtime having lots of different editions, some files are the same and some are different. So if you install a copy of VC redist 2010 over another copy, only the files which are different are created and the ones that are the same are linked via junction to the previous copy.

    Electro and Cherno are fine on any servers under 15 players. Just make sure there are no zombies already walking around when you approach.

    FPS Problems

    I have been getting tech problems since around November, pretty much replaced my whole pc and only have the PSU left. I know this probably sounds daft to most people but I think its solar winds or some kind of sun activity. It is peaking around this time according to some science types and I've heard it has an effect on electronics and old wiring. I have also noticed blurry/laggy LCD's on at least 3 different computers so I believe something is up atm. There have been lots of bad fps threads too, so they must be connected.

    Try turning off your User Account Control (under users in control panel) and running it only from its default/recommended install folder.
