    Loot in this game means anything at a loot spawn location. It's priority and type determine what you get there. Don't confuse it with loot from RPG games. There is no money.

    Actually that is wrong, but it depends where you get your definitions. This is what I know it as Ghosting, or "to ghost" is The act of one or more dead players spectating an alive enemy player, with the intent of revealing his or her actions or location to their alive comrades, giving them an unfair situational advantage.     A friend and I were getting the same problem last night, the time the server is reporting is not what you get when you log in. Tried about 20 servers literally, all supposedly saying they were still in day time hours (15:00 is daytime to me) and ended up being pitch black. or they were -5 or -8 GMT and even though it was 9pm real time, they were still dark. But I don't think it is restricted to DZCommander.

    Use my cheatfinder util on the logs, it flags anything suspicious. http://dayzmod.com/f...ser-for-admins/ (I ran it on your snippets and they were clean) All I know is the command 'DIE' and then the following lines player addWeapon "Loot"; player addWeapon "Flare"; These are your starting items for when you respawn/die.

    The map is not a physical item usually, its part of everyone's game if you play the military version. It is linked by default and everyone automatically has one.

    Everyone can see map markers of the same team/ Since we are classed as being on the same team, and in the same group, we all see the same markers (and we can delete them too which is funny to annoy people)

    OP you're a fool, I'm sorry to have to say. At no point during those 26 days did you decide to take a break and come back later? No you used up all your energy playing it in one big go, subsequently exploring and doing everything. Well I haven't been everywhere or done everything, why? So it gives me something to do in the time I do get to play. It's the same as the person who wins the lottery but still doesn't feel rich, now you see it's about the journey and not the destination.

    I wouldn't head north until you are ready to take on other players, head east instead and follow the train track as a visual helper.

    I always find winchesters in those barns and long pig pens, they are better with slugs I think.

    This is called 'ghosting' in most games, its fairly common. Up to the server admin to ban for this really.

    If you used the example then I'm not sure what the commands actually do if they are reported, they are just there. I got that file from a post on this forum so someone thought they were something to watch out for I guess. The file can be edited or replaced with custom lists its just an example and as the list is quite extensive, it would take me quite a long time to verify that all the lines in that file are actually cheats or not. Maybe someone was just paranoid and put every single command the game has in there.

    Yeah its more or less a gentleman's agreement that we stick to the rules, but as long as private servers don't want to interfere with hive then np with me.

    I just read the logs have changed? Can anyone post examples of these new logs? I just want about 100 lines, or less than 100kb whichever is smaller. Zip it and attach it if you have an example of the new log thanks.

    Current there is some formatting on mine and I have removed the numbers that appear before each cheat so its better to use my example. What I was planning on doing is replacing the scripts file with a database of known cheats but that would need updating all the time. I will adjust some things for next release.

    This is tecnhnically not true since you can set up all or some games to not update automatically > right click > properties > Updates > keep this program up to date. If that is off then people wont get forced updates.

    The maximum size for a text file to be read is apparently is 2^63-1 bytes or 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 bytes, (8,589,934,591.99GB) lol. So something must be causing it.

    Hm ok thanks. large files and dutch language may be an issue. does your scripts.log contain special dutch characters that you can see? basically accented letters and stuff? for example È

    subgenius, Use notepad++ for now it has line numbers down the side. tickle_me_jesus. looking into the stream error now, but as it worked on mine without errors I have to duplicate it. For now can you give me the following: OS type and language (XP/english etc) ram in system size of log file you tried searching. were you running it locally with admin rights or from a restricted account
