I love Dayz with my DAD!!!
disorder replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
..and then shooting them. -
I think there are a bunch of 'grinder' types who get bored by a lack of end game content too. I try and play the game sporadically, I enjoy it a lot more and I still haven't got high level loot.

Looks a bit like

Nah they all look the same. Anyway, how would you tell if he was friendly?

There was one hacker once who took us all on a trip to Blackpool and we had fish supper. True story.

Your midgets are not peddling fast enough it would seem. Crack the whip harder. 1) Open the following file: C:\Users\yourname\Documents\ArmA 2\ArmA2OA.cfg find the line GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; and change to 100 2) Make sure memory in options is on default, not high. Make sure view range is under 3500 turn off post processing if you like (clearer view I think) make sure rendering and 3d resolution are the same value.

Any Tea Drinking Dirty Teeth Brits Out There?
disorder replied to Lid's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
My teeth are dirtier than the sides of a canal. -
Actually Virtual Battlespace (The military sim arma is based on) has a lot of real world maps with it, in fact it takes about several DVD's for the whole set. Well I can't find them now, but there used to be some DVD's on their site with a load of maps in.

What is that great feeling moment for you?

2500m to go and hey what's this? a bike! -
This is a good idea, but why even have skins at all. I thought that was attributed to 'class' and the game was classless. I would say add more chances to communicate intentions. different hand signals and wotnot.

Dont play DAY Z today! Massive CD stealing while IN GAME
disorder replied to thelonewarrior's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I think the problem is that BE thinks its infallible when its only run by humans. Unless they designed a massive supercomputer to oversee all the decision making, even then its only programmed by flawed humans. -
Ok so the buildings on the arma2 maps can be destroyed, sometimes by grenades or explosions. On our server the north hospital in cherno has been totally wiped out and is just a pile of rubble.(I dont even know how I think it got bugged) I know we have a second one, but it just got me thinking that the destruction and repair of buildings could add another tactical element. I'm not sure if the game/code can repair buildings unless the whole server is restarted, but it would be great if you could get various items (toolbox, entrenching tools, shovels etc) and then repair a building with other players. Deer Stands could also be constructed out of wood parts. The repair would work in the same way as vehicle repair, with different parts like stone blocks taking up different space. Well that's it, I'd love to see some sort of construction maybe in standalone. (PS if you TLDR this, your fucking attention span is too short. Try reading a book for once and stop using twitter) Have a nice day!

Well time is relative, obviously and the game is all over the place with so called realism. For example it takes a few seconds to fill a jerry can but longer to empty it. It can be as easy as getting a concrete chunk, standing near the building and choosing repair and waiting a few seconds.

Uk, 31. play private co-op with friends mostly. On public I don't hang around with anyone as I find it easier to evade people on my own. Feel free to add http://steamcommunity.com/id/xdisorderx

Finally Lost My Spirit in the Game
disorder replied to IncrediBurch's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
If you don't play often you can enjoy it more. I do that with most games; never try and grind to the end. -
You might as well have thrown old bagels at him for all the damage it did.

I was worried he forgot about all of us crazies.

Should we remove barbed wire in the next update
disorder replied to mattlightfoot's topic in Mod Announcements & Info
As a strategic aspect I think they are fun, but bring back the ability to climb over with bleeding (it was in 2.3 I'm sure). Also make it so that you can take them down without tools. you can put them up without tools so what difference does it make. At least make tools as common as barb wire. -

Do I want to take something fairly scary and replace it with something not scary? Yea that sounds like a good idea.
