Here's the the thing. Engagements generally come down to who sees who first, and two quick Winchester rounds is enough to down a person. So I guess it really depends, are you hunting people or just trying to survive? If it's survival Id go Winnie, if you're trying to pick people off at a distance go Enfield.

I'd only be in favor of something subtle, like maybe bloodstains. Figure if someone murders somebody else and then loots their corpse they'll get some blood on their clothes/hands. Maybe if you murder somebody you should get visible blood on your clothes which would key a survivor that runs into that you quite literally have blood on your hands. It's not as clearcut as a separate skin, so there will still be that tension when you see somebody, but you'll have a small clue. Just a thought,

The M16 is a reliable all-purpose weapon that's easy to use (it also has a great burst fire mode). The M4 is a carbine, so it's slightly less accurate at range but is easier for close targets due to its compactness and red dot. In terms of just combat I like the M16, but because the M4 has a flashlight it's more versatile at night.
