As much as that's a great idea, I don't think it's necessary in our instance. We have 4-5 admins with full access, with any # of them on at any given time. We also have continual 30 minute DB backups so if ever anything *does* go wrong, we can ban the guilty, and reset the server with minimal disruption.

Stealth changes ultimately hurt the reputation of the mod creators, and negative word of mouth will spread, resulting in less growth. If everything is communicated up front, and the reasons why, you wouldn't see the uproar over the issue like we're seeing now. I can understand balancing gameplay, as that's crucial to the development of the game, the message here is communication is key. I'd also rather have over-communication over nothing.
