Butthurt? Came from Yogcast perhaps? Lemme tell you this, DayZ will get into your face and butt rape you if you want to be cuddled throughout the game. Setting aside my very angry persona re yogcast, their fans and how they treat the mod, I have three things to say to you. One: Play all the tutorials that came with ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA. Hell, play the campaigns too. Two: Guns are not everything. Sure you can shoot the infected and other players but if you can get your hands on a hatchet, combat knife, matches and a water bottle, you can live for days and defend yourself. Only problem would be the medical side of things ie Infection and broken bones. Three: My Number One Rule of DayZ, trust ****ing no one. That is all.

After Action Report Got in and spent my time looking for a vehicle to use as a transport and mobile storage (running around and being able to carry so much gets a little irritating after a while.). Did not find any but saw mburch2 needed some attention a kilometer or so from my last position. I contacted him and found out FieldMedic was on his way and I told mburch2 to say hi to him for me. Proceeded to Black Forest for some game hunting (which I found a boar. Wild bacon never tasted so good.) before noticing Fluffyjr required some Antibiotics for an infection. We agreed to meet at a particular point on the server I usually hangout at this time. It was night-time and a game of night time Marco-Polo (no shouting of 'Marco' and 'Polo' occured.) ensued. I spotted him running across in front of me and told him to stop. Administered my last supply of Antibiotics to him, exchanged pleasantries and went our separate ways. All in all, simple night. Well, I have no antibiotics left. Ergo, infection cases will have to be picked up by someone else and/or I need to drop by a hospital or two to see if I can find more. Done for the night and sleep awaits. G'nite and stay safe.

After Action Report: Went in and began travelling from the last point I logged out to Pustoshka to see if I could get a few bips and bops for those who don't have them (matches really, those things are rare!). Received a PM from Sarge4206th about him having little blood. His location at first gave me some concerns (he said he was just north of Elektro) but after looking at the map and doing the calculations, I decided it was okay to go down and give him a transfusion. However, he failed to respond soon after and I assumed he either went offline for the day. I then proceeded to my next patient Arne. The minute I saw the distance from his/her current location to mine, I knew it would take some time and gave the heads up. We decided its best that we meet up slightly later in the day. Diverting from my original path, I went to Black Forest to meet up with yahhzoo who had caught an infection. After messing up my coordinates again (4th time I think on the job too!), we met up. I gave him the antibiotics and we proceeded to sit around a fire where freshly caught game was cooked and shared (the infection had caused him to lose blood). We then partied up to get him a better primary as his current was the 'Dinner Bell of Chernaurus' @ the Lee Enfield. We first dropped by Stary Sobor before hitting the three deer stands nearby. Seeing as out current location was close to the NW Airfield, we decided to go for a quick raid. We arrived at the Airfield, completely deserted and quiet. Or so it seemed. After going into the South-west barracks, we began crawling to the other barracks in the middle of the Airfield. Yahhzoo had heard gunshots but I didn't hear anything. As we were halfway across the last stretch of tarmac, we hear gunshots. Looking at our surroundings, I spot a player entering the second hanger from the right. I call out what I noticed to my companion and we crawled back into a stretch of grass and bushes. As we were crawling, I spot a second player entering the same hanger. No gunshots were heard and we knew they were a party. We maintain absolute silence and observer the hanger. When the two players come out of the hanger and into the last hanger, I spot something. A sniper rifle and an assault rifle on each of them. I tell yahhzoo that I will only fire on them if they do not move out of the Airfield and look in our direction for more than a few seconds. When they exited, I was hoping they would just move on and get out of the area. They didn't. They turned around, stopped and looked at us. It is my sad duty to report that I had to fire and kill two players. I know we could have attempted communications but they were a good 100-200m away from us. I made sure it was quick. Both received two rounds of 7.62mm rounds directly to the head and/or chest. They were dead before they hit the ground. Yahhzoo and I dispatched the aggroed infected, raided the nearby firestation and hangers 1-3 before we began stripping the two killed players of their gear and supplies. Here, I bid farewell to my companion before going our separate ways. Long post. Sorry. First time I had any form of PvP action and at night too. My thanks to yahhzoo for giving me a thumbs up for my work. Glad I could be of service and some help too. Also some gratitude to Arne for understanding and willing to postpone treatment. I would like to make it clear, I fired the shots and not yahhzoo. I have the blood of two players on my hands which I am not so sure was warranted or not. One of them had his revolver pointing at my direction and held it for a good 5 seconds the least. He did not attempt any form of representing himself or his partner as friendly. I also believe that my RoE for a PvP hotspot was good enough (not firing immediately when I spotted the two players) and even risked the life of both yahhzoo and myself. To all my fellow medics, to shoot or not to shoot that is the question. I guess that's it. I'll be off till about Arne is back online for treatment and then a good wait for a certain something. he pmed me about 30 minutes ago about blood and what not near a corssroad up north of Elektro...im very sceptical abt it... and might i suggest that not only medics pay attn to their PMs on the forums but the patients as well? Its not easy to fix you up if you don't want to talk to us -_- tho, i am partially at fault too (but seriously, I'm asleep when most people in the States and EU play)

After action report Took up three cases today. Proceeded from Stary Sobor to Pustoshka to help out AcidNightmar3. Uneventful other than failing to pay attention and ran right into a pack of infected (back-pedalling and shooting ensued). Arrived at Pustoshka supermarket and proceeded with treatment (after finding a server that would support both of us). Exchanged well wishes and I left for Vybor. Arrived at the outskirts of Vybor. Did not proceed in as did not receive any message from Walter White in regards if he still needed medical assistance. Regardless, stayed on standby till I received an impromptu message. Miika had gotten an infection after a run in with some infected. I gave him a location and we met up where I proceeded to give him the much needed antibiotics. He was also a little banged up and gave him some meat from a recent hunting trip. Again, pleasantries were exchanged and we parted ways. Thanks AcidNightmar3 for giving me a thumbs up. Walter White, sorry if I didn't pick up your case sooner as I was out. Miika (and Niksu) stay safe out there! You might not be looking for trouble but trouble seems to be finding you! :P I've decided to write these action reports for whenever I pick a patient/patients and have treated them (or failed) just before I'm going to call it a day. As long as that's okay with the OP and the guys here of course. goldgamer501, I would help you but I'm about to go off for the night as I have some things to do early in the morning. Great, I'm glad you took it as constructive criticism, as certainly meant no offense PMed you, am at outskirts of Vybor (against all reasoning and my set rules of not approaching towns near Airfields.) However, I will be out for the next 30minutes or so to run some errands.

After action report: Miika approached me for medical assist for both him and his friend Niksu. They were low on blood, bleeding, unconscious with a possibility of broken bones from a shoot out in Zelenogorsk. Both were in the open next to one of the houses near the Zelenogorsk church. I responded but told him it would take time for me to get from Gorka (where I was hunting for a vehicle to act as a mobile storage; total distance from my last location to theirs' was appx 7km). Went from one end to the other end without incident on my usual server other than detouring a crash heli and making a big circle around an ATV parked in the middle of a field with trees and hills over looking it. I arrived at their location and it being Zelenogorsk with the compact buildings and large number of infected required me to shoot a few to clear out the area. I decided to treat Miika first. He logged in with 2k blood, bleeding. Took awhile to find him and just managed to stop the bleeding as he went below 1k. Gave him a full medical treatment. One patient down. The next patient, Niksu, logged in after Miika logged out (as per my instructions). I saw him appear before me and even went down unconscious. However, the options to begin treating him did not appear and he was around 1k blood. By the time I started treatment, he was gone. To say I was stunned is an understatement. To say I was completely devastated is just the tip. Miika questioned me over my failure and I couldn't answer him properly. I offered and stayed with the body (together with Miika) till Niksu could return to collect his previous life's gear. As time passed, news that Niksu was in Chernogorsk and had found more or less enough gear had come down. Miika proposed that I could go my way. I stuck around for awhile longer before I accepted his offer (actually, it was my paranoia of being in Zelenogorsk surrounded by the horde that made the decision). We parted ways, exchanging well wishes of luck and health as well as my repeated apologies. End of after action report Again, I would like to apologise to Niksu. I seriously do not know what went wrong. It could have been my ineptness as a medic or something along the line of the game mechanics. However, the bottom-line is you died. And, as I have said many times to Miika, I am sorry. I am also sorry to jofirebat who has posted here and even contacted me. My sig says it all (and I might add one or two more locations to it right now). Please check my recent PM for what my advice is. EDIT: Calling it a night now. It's 4am my time. Stay alive out there people.
