I recently played with Pwnzors build ... was up and running in 10 minutes after reading his included Readme file. :) I would try that ... really simple to do and use. :)

Really ... a Windows.old when you reformat ... I take it you mean a reinstall ... cos a reformat will wipe the entire HDD (I stand under correction though).

BSOD ... normally means bad memory or other hardware related issues. You say it is only DayZ ... which tends to point to that being the problem ... but it is so difficult to tell. In my experience, BSOD are always a result of a physical hardware issue and is normally resolved by replacing ram or gpu ... I have had a few occasions where a bad hardware driver has caused a BSOD. Are you running the game as a Local Administrator? Is there a Screen Saver that may kick in after 20 minutes? Power Saving? Try stopping all unnecessary programs? Plug out your second monitor as a test. Sorry I can't be of more assistance ... but these are a few things I would try to attempt to narrow down the problem. Good Luck.

The Czech Vest Pouch is a special backpack ... well chestpack ... it has 12 slots but can't take a weapon. :)

I hear you man ... it sucks ... happened to me once as well. I trekked all the way back to my body only to discover it had already been looted. :( I have since then become more weary of Z's and I use stealth and the environment to my favour when dealing with them. :)

They don't have weapon slots (like Vehicles and Tents) ... they merely have slots. As Conkykillz indicated ... weapons take up these slots. :) HTH

It isn't a bug. The Zombies have a random chance of knocking you out and causing blood loss when they hit you. Just sounds like you were unlucky in this instance and got nailed by both random chances. Who is your server hoster? This dictates what tools are available to perform the tasks for you. 24/7 Daylight is pretty easy to do and would only require me to have access to the FTP portion of the server and access to the scheduler used to restart the server. Auto Refuel requires scripting work to be done and would also require access to the FTP portion of the server, but I would need to know what Private Hive Server packages you are using. This includes adding more crash sites. The other work is entirely dependant on the Server Hoster and requires work to be done in the Arma Editor and then transferred to your setting. Some server hosters have tools that can merge these in.

Not here to reprimand or condone whatever happened on this server, as I wasn't present, but I need to correct you on this fact. Admins on Public Hives CANNOT DO THIS BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF THE PUBLIC HIVE AND NOT BECAUSE OF CHOICE. We Admins on Public Hives do not have access to the data for the server, hence we are unable to assist players who have experienced problems because of bugs and glitches. So please check your statements before making global accusations like this ... it is really annoying coming from a person with one post ... as you come across as a Troll ... and I am sure you are not.

Crap ... that sucks. I can't access my Public Hive from work ... but I will connect tonight when I get home and see if I am experiencing the same problem. Gawd, I hope this isn't an issue with the new release. I do recall the Hive was down a while ago ... I wonder if this is a knock effect or something. :(

Only if in negative. I have made Hero a while ago and then went in to Hermit mode (avoided other players entirely due to KOS) and have not lost any Humanity. My Humanity remains constant.

You can only use the Hatchet or a Main Weapon. In order to use the Hatchet, you will need to put your main weapon down or place it in your backpack. Be careful, a main weapon requires 10 slots and if you don't have enough in your backpack you will destroy your main weapon. If you drop your weapon on the floor and you disconnect ... it will be gone. HTH
