I once found it under a car-port type thingy at a farmhouse near Novy Lug ... not sure if that is the original spawn or whether I accidentally stole it from someone. Although I am no longer a Teenager, I did borrow the vehicle for a while and returned it there ... almost like new condition, except for the windows, and the body, and the engine, and the fueltank, and the tyres ... and somehow the contents of the vehicle mysteriously vanished ... but it wasn't my fault. I swear. :)

My suggestion is a find a Server that doesn't do it ... that would be easier then trying to stop it. PM if you play on European servers and I will give you the details to my Private Hive and Public Hive servers. :) I do not give free loot and do not expect donations ... I host servers so I can keep an eye on Skiddies while I play. :)

Yes ... but I don't think they mean in the sense of log cabins and flower pots and little kittens sleeping on the welcome mat. I do stand under correction, but I think it is more on the lines of defensive positions and protection from the Zombies who want to eat your kittens and poo in your flower pots and wipe their butt with your welcome mat. :) *ding* Question: Do Zombies Bowels still ... errr ... umm ... Sorry no ... you are fresh out of luck if you didn't use something like DayZ Commander ... and as stated ... Pen / Paper ... works pretty well, especially for us old timers with fading memory. p.s. I am talking about myself as an old timer ... not you, unless you are one - then welcome to the club. :)

Just put your tent near some of the log piles and pretend it is a log cabin ... maybe park a tractor next to it ... :D

I don't look down on Bandits ... I see them as part of the game and it is not for me to decide how other people play the game. I think Bandits are just as much of a threat as the Zombies are ... and it is how you choose to deal with them that makes the game fun. As an Admin, I pretty much stay clear of populated areas and only sneak in to towns when I am running low on supplies and will get out quickly. My food and drink comes from filling up water bottles and hunting ... so it is pretty much only ammo and medical supplies that I need. When there are Bandits around ... I will let the players decide how to handle the situation ... most will avoid areas of known Bandits and focus on their game. On the odd occasion there will be multiple Bandits and players are finding it difficult to make a start, this is when I step in. I will go fetch my Vehicle (which is expendable and only used in these situations) and I will pick up new Spawns and drop them off at non-Bandit locations to gear up ... if they want the help. Most of the time, a couple will team up and end up playing like that. When the bandits move on to these locations ... I move new Spawns to other locations. It is kind of like a game of Cat and Mouse. Finally when we have enough Payers who are geared up ... we arrange to storm the Bandits and give them some Survivor justice. We will loose players during the storming of the hill (so to speak) ... but in the end we normally manage to avenge our fallen comrades. I have been killed doing things like this quite often and have even been back-stabbed by new Spawns and sometimes even lost my vehicle to Bandits ... it is part of the game and I accept it. I would personally never KOS or be a Bandit ... but that is because I choose to play like that ... and I love playing the game (so to speak) with Bandits. Besides ... bandits are human too ... and they make pretty good eating when slowly roasted over a camp fire with some evergreen leaves and sea salt for flavouring. :)

I personally think we need to add Horses (not "Rideable" but "Guttable") and canned horse meat ... make all the Europeans feel welcome. :)

Firstly I understand that this is your opinion ... and because you opened up with that line it means I can express my own opinion too ... so here goes. *cough* *ehem* I have an idea, why don't you write your own Mod ... or better yet write your own Game ... oh wait, that would be to much effort and so instead you will express your opinion that has absolutely no constructive criticism or even an offer of assistance. As stated in an earlier post, your criticism is a little premature. Developers and Modders can not possibly please everyone ... and I am amazed that some of them even try to keep this Mod moving forward based on recent community responses to pointless things ... my suggestion to you all ... go write your own Mod and make it the way you want it to be and then see if anyone agrees with you ... until then ... shut up or if you have to express your opinion offer more than just criticism and rather give advice on how you think it could be resolved or even offer to assist if you can. I know ... I am the Grumpy Old Fart in the Corner ... but that is Mr. Grumpy Old Fart to you! p.s. I vote Rocket for President ... and all the Developers and Administrators as his cabinet (or whatever it is called in the U.S.) ... at least we know if the true Zombie Apocalypse hits ... two things will be taken care of: We'll have a president and cabinet who know how to take care of the survivors. They'll instill some humour in a time when it is needed. Hell NO ... We won't GO ... Hell NO ... Cos I say SO!!! You are welcome. ;)

I would go with clearing all your filters first ... and see if it brings you all the servers back ... if it doesn't, then something may have gone screwy with DayZ Commander. I have never had this issue myself ... so I can't offer more advice then that ... sorry. :(

From my experience, I have only encountered one Skiddie so far and I managed to swarm him with Zombies and get him killed ... yeah he wasn't very good. :) I have found that it is dependant on the servers you play on. I run a Public Official Hive and a Private Whitelisted Hive and I do my best to keep on top of the Skiddies. Last night I banned 3 from my server before they could cause any issues and the players online were quite appreciative. So I am not sure the problem is much better, but I think admins are trying their best and the tools are getting better. I hope you come back and play ... and find a server that you enjoy playing on. :)

Okay ... normally I shut up ... but this time I have to chime in. Firstly ... you have 3 posts at the time of this post ... and all you are doing is moaning about a FREE mode that is developed on by community members for FREE that is still in ALPHA stage ... now exactly is this being constructive. Secondly ... I am a Software Developer by Profession and a Game Developer (Independent) in my spare time ... and there is nothing more frustrating to game developers (all developers) when they are doing something out of passion and might I add FREE ... and then someone like you comes along and hits them with negative comments. Did I say that they give up their time on this FREE mod for FREE My mom used to say (yes I have a mother): "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at al". A very good colleague of mine used to say: "If you have to say something negative, first cover the positives and then cover the negatives, and then finally round off with some suggestions or offer assistance". Can you give us more information ... maybe a screen shot. Without more information, I am going to say: "transient bus protocol violation" ;)

Can you give me the exact version numbers of your client ... if you can't find it then download DayZ Commander and go to the Install option ... it will give you your versions there. A fresh install from Steam does not necessarily mean it is the latest build. Can you also give the exact version numbers of the server you are connecting to ... it is normally in the title of the server. Chances are you are running a newer version then the server ... or visa versa ... this has sometimes happened to me and I got weird messages popping up. Sorry ... not sure what else I can do to help you.
