This morning while playing in the awesome first person, no third server. I had a pretty elite character. For some time I was cautious with my actions and used some military scouting (I'm an arm-chair soldier :D) I lost interest in scouting and thought "why not go to that cool NW airport?" I went, and I was killed. I didn't care. I had the best adrenaline rush at the time. So, I start over again. No compass, no map, etc. I been 'navigating' on Arma for such a long time. So I knew my sun location and shadow hints. I Ran North and ignored the zombies. Why bother shooting them when you can play SNAKE with zombies? :P I ran and ran with a horde of zombies following. By the time I ran up to Devil's Castle, I already had 30+ Zombies chasing me LOL. I knew where I was at! All I had to do was run N, NW. And boy! 20 minutes of running I approach that damned NW airport lol. I ran across every known hiding point bandits LOVE to camp. And on the bottom of the screen, loads of people were like "wtf?" "Did you see that? lol" but they didn't explain what they were so awed about lol. I knew they were talking about my zombie trail. LOL. Every now and then I see people disconnect as I approach him or her. I think I cleared the majority of bandits on the server? For a limited time only at Taco Bell!

Dang, I wish I had a rocket launcher so I can shoot horde of zombies... I seen bodies with weird items in them lol. Some people pack their backpacks with two rifles and no ammo for them. I couldn't help but lolz. Another time, I found this backpack filled with tin cans? Wtf LOL

Before you connect to the 99 slot server, read this! If you don't like the 1st person aspect of Arma 2. This server is not for you. That's all :D

Today in AUS1 server, a hord of zombies came after me and a newly met buddy. I couldn't run away as fast as I could, and the zombies got me. While I was bleeding, dying on the ground... My buddy killed all the remaining zombies while my sand glass was slowly draining. He was too busy typing "Noooooooooooooooooo.... :((" when he could have at least helped? I had full medical gear with blood, epin, morphine and painkillers... Instead the "nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!" was all he could do. So guys. If you see a buddy on the ground. Try your best to see if he need medical attention?

Server version is currently at 1.4.17. Server(s): US1, US2, US3. Timeline of events before/after error: 8:00am - Installed v1.4.20 8:10am - Joined US1 server 8:10am - Waited for server to respond 8:20am - Connected to server successfully, ended up at debug field with other players. 8:22am - Disconnected and joined other servers. Same issue. 8:30am - Disconnected from game. 8:32am - Installed and replaced v1.4.20 with v1.4.17. 8:35am - Joined US1, same issues. Joined US2, US3. All the same.

Hello, everyone. I understand most of you are "stuck" on 'Waiting for server response.' Or the 'Loading' screen, etc. As for me, this rarely happens... Well, at least I don't get "stuck." The server is fine, everything is fine. If you were even reading the forums, one of the coders (I think it was Adam) clearly typed that the server usually puts you on a queue. And during this time, your character is being 'loaded.' The way I am usually able to play with no issue is patience. I've told many others before during our waiting period to just wait. When you start Arma 2. Maybe try playing on 'window mode?' That way you can do something else while your character is being processed. The waiting period is usually 3~5 minutes for me. I don't care about this, really. "Why?" You ask? Most of the time I play, I'm running, running, running, running. Doesn't really make a difference.
