Anyone had this one? Just logged in, all my ammo was gone, all my food and water, and all my medical supplies. All that was left was my weapons themselves. Very strange!

We all hate Intel, but when an Intel chip offers far better gaming performance than an equally priced AMD offering, how can you not buy Intel?

I stopped playing about a month ago due to the hackers and the way everyone just treated it as a Team Deathmatch shooter. I'll definitely be trying the standalone though, and I feel honoured to have been a part of the community at such an early stage. Remove sniper rifles and fix the cheaters and I'd certainly come back.

If money's tight just build a desktop, you will get so much more for your money. Guys who game on laptops usually have money to burn!

Check your drivers are up to do date, and also a PC reboot seems to fix the problem for a while at least. All I know is, I updated my graphics drivers, did a reboot, and now the problem has been fixed (for now).

You do realise how often everyone dies right? In fact the best players in this game tend to die more because they're the ones who go looking for a fight. I began playing since they took out the starter Makarov, I don't have any friends in the game, and yet i've had no trouble succeeding, the same goes for thousands of others. Don't blame the game for your own lazy attitude. The problem with today's generation of gamers is that they're too used to having everything done for them. You're a classic example of the influx of moaning, incompetent teenagers the mod saw after that Yogscast video was made.

It's not the mod's fault you can't be bothered to learn how to play it properly.

This. How fucking boring would this game be if we weren't all trying to kill each other? It's what makes the game so awesome; it's Russian Battle Royale with zombies.

I would say as a deaf gamer you've probably learnt to adapt your gameplay to compensate, so will be the same in Dayz. Of course it will be a challenge as audio does play a large part, but you'll adapt to the challenge as i'm sure you do in real life when your disability presents you with problems. Oh and welcome.
