Exact same situation for me during my short time playing yesterday. Couldn't find any pussy snipers to kill in Stary so I went into the village; absolutely nothing to be found. The same could be said for the surrounding areas (this was on the larger UK servers UK5 and UK6). -

I died near stary today due to a broken leg and managed to run all the way back to my body to get my stuff, so not all bad and always worth a try if there's a possibility no one looted your corpse and you weren't too far north. -

I would have thought most of us have thought that, especially at the start when everything seems so much harder than it actually is. I must say it's rare though, because there is something about Day Z that's captured me more than any game in a long time. My nerd-rages have more been at the problems on update days. My gf had to tell me to shut the fuck up the other day because I was shouting at the computer "JUST LOAD!!! WHY DO THEY ALWAYS FUCK THE GAME IN THE ASS ON MY DAYS OFF!!?? WHY!!!!??" Followed by shaking the monitor and spilling beer everywhere. I need to get a life... -
