oh i thought all servers where meant to be linked?. I cant remember the name of the server I was on when i got me gear :( So do i have to start again? I normally go for servers that have max players I dont really look at the description to see what kind of server it is but i will do from now on is there a way to bookmark a server or remove private servers only ones that are linked to the real DAYZ hive?. Thanks -
Thought I would give Dayz another go as I aint played it in a while. Spent 2hrs getting gear and did well for a change got me a springfield with loads of ammo. Any ways decided to hide and log off and came to play it today and all me gear is gone. I then joined another server and started with NV,Glock etc etc wtf is going on?.

why you post that senseless shit? whats is ridiculous if you want to gut an animal without shooting it first? if you try to kill a wild boar with a hunting knife i would agree but a cow, a goat or a sheep you should be able to kill with the knife. And as it is now you should be able to kill a wild boar to because it wont run away or wont attack you ;) LOL I would love to see you kill a boar with a hunting knife the thing would rip you apart there evil mate

Ah your talking about the Dayz AI on that I agree yeah they are super AI :P and I all so dislike the speed they charge at. But I was talking about the vanilla AI they seem to be better but with out the xray vision etc.

So so true LOL. People forget its a simulator not an arcade game :P If ya have not tryed ACE please please do its very very impressive adds so so much to an all ready great sim.

DoctorWrongpipes Yeah the AI are very aware but you need to take it slow and scout the area you cant go in guns blazing thats for sure. Use the map and look for advantage points eg high ground,valleys where you could set up a tunnel so the enemy can only attack from on direction. think like you would in real life ya would never run in guns blazing you would die and its the same for arma

I have to say this I have been playing ARMA since its release damn like said in another post I played OFP on release. Any way on the BIS forums we get none of this swearing,rudeness and just plain disrospect. It just comes to show the crowd of people this mod has brought to the ARMA series and I dont like it one bit. Please for god sake be kind wait like I said in another post BIS WIL NOT LET YOU DOWN. just wait EDIT if ya want to pass the time play vanilla ARMA you will be hooked because many of you got arma for this one mission just play vanilla or the campaign better still install ACE2 mod it will blow you mind ;)
