ShadowWalker is a server admin as well so he should be fully aware of the issues regarding server restarts with vehicle and tent respawns. We forbid our members to use duped gear of any sort. I can assure you that if you go back there on this very day, those tents will be upright, filled with gear and the camp site abandoned. The cords are 075,002. He's just pissy because his "unit" resorted to ghosting to try and kill off our guys and still lost all of his men. Dwel into that for a minute. Regardless, video game, not real life. Follow the rules. There are children that play on DayZ and they are even able to abide by that.

I'm aware of the issue. Fighting hackers is a full time job. I do the best I can with all instances that I'm made aware of. When possible I get with our server host as well as submit tickets to DayZ regarding the incident. However, there is not much that I can do personally as an admin and the way we run our server (no tags, no autospot) makes it that much harder to pinpoint the issues. I do monitor Rcon and our web console stream constantly for violations, but in a 24 hour period some of those console files are coming up on a gig in size and there is nothing in them but scripts and codes. So until DayZ up's their cheat protection, idiots like that are just part of the game right now.

Kudos to you Aleksandr if you accomplished all you stated that you did. I was not in the formation that was in the Balota squad's AO. In either case, I can assure you that none of our guys combat logged. Balota is a high traffic area so it is entirely possible you came across another player in the process. Our members before they are even accepted into WDUSMC are briefed on the consequences of ghosting and combat logging. We have banned one of our own guys before for combat logging. That is something that we will not tolerate. I encourage you that if you are 100% certain and can show me some sort of proof or a screen shot with a time stamp I will pull all corresponding logs and have that member removed from our ranks as well as our server. Until then, keep up the good work.

I'm sure you did, and yes I did ban you. And our server logs show you doing so. A ticket has been submitted to the DayZ mods and will be handled from there. If you check our site, our server MOTD and the forums here, you'll see out standpoint on ghosting (combat logging) as well as the Devs. So, if you don't like it, take it up with them. Same thing happened on US35 at 2:22 AM EST. Everyone was teleported to a random location and dropped from sky level until dead. The only player on the server that didn't die was "Smileyface." Tickets have been opened in Vilayer as well as all server logs being saved at the time of the incident for future reference and verificatioin.

Yeah it's pretty much all out. If you make any contact with a Survivor it kill or be killed. But I had a similar experience yesterday at the Balota Air Base. Was hunting 2 players around the hangers. Survivor stepped out of the tree line on the East and shot both of them. (I was maybe 50 meters prone with MP5SD). Waited for those two to claim their loot. Once the made it to the bodies, I killed one and the other ran into the hangar and shut the door to hide. So I looted the bodies, camped the door. The guy opened the hanger and peeked outside and got hit by another survivor with an AKM, so I turned and shot that guy. By the time everything quieted down, had 5 bodies at the Balota AO only two of which were my kills. Had a Recruit yesterday night pull the same in the Air Tower in Balota, only he took all 5 guys out. The tactics really pay off here. And as far as our Sniper friend up north there. Excellent Job. No one in our squad had eyes on you. I hope you took that 50 off my person and put it to good use. I do miss it. Every KIA is a lesson learned.

Also Vilayer included an update that dropped today and we had a few bugs that transferred from our old settings files. BUT, everything is up and running as it should be. Sorry to those players that have been on our server regularly in the past few days. With the new Vilayer update server settings were changed to Veteran instead of Regular. WDUSMC server default settings have been reapplied. Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks to Vilayer for the Awesome work on the update.
