Haven't got DayZ commander took launch with steam succesfully yet. Got any tips? Simple work around for now. Open dayz through steam. Search server with commander, note server number. Add number to filter in game. Join server, enjoy overlay.

Technically about DayZ, here is fine. I prefer to down a few glasses of Fireball (cinamon whisky) on the rocks. If you've ever eaten redhots (cinamon candy) it takes just the same. Then you get drunk.

How does one keep, remove, and enhance one thing? Keep : pvp Remove : high end military weapons. Replace with more variety in civilian grade friearms. Enhance : reasons to not KoS. Give us good reasons in game to not instantly blow eachothers heads of. Make it a choice again.

Get over the animations. Welcome to ARMA. ARMA has enourmous maps and player counts that would have the source engine shitting bricks. L4D is fun, no doubt about it, but it isn't DayZ, an ARMA based game. Be happy with what you got or go play L4D. I'd love better animations too. Other things simply are much more important.

Not balota, tower is green, op would have mentioned hangars/runway. Maybe green mountain radio tower complex. Don't remember the antenna's color.

Try suppressing him. Lee's require good marksmanship. Never give him the chance to line you up at no risk to himself.

Assuming it wasn't lag or a bug. Possible sniper, but you'd probably hear it. Maybe a suppressed weapon, but you'd still probably hear it. Maybe a crossbow. Did you look behind you? There are two ways into the tower. A ladder leads directly to the top on the opposite side of the main entrance.

Sooo, you spawned west of elektro. Made your way roughly NE. Found the powerplant, and then the firestation. Then you made it to the grocery store. All without getting sniped. Well done. You seem to be enjoying exploring, I won't spoil that. Just keep your head down in that town. Becareful when you spawn back in. The grocery is a popular place and thar M4 makes you a big threat/easy loot.

Firefighters can fight fire with fire, but freedom fighters flirting with fire get fried. There, now that have have got enough aliteration in there... What you are doing is dangerous if you like playing DayZ. It is probably better left to the developers. You know the risks and the costs (about $30) I can't condone it, but I can look the other way. Just be careful, you walk the line. One day you may find you crossed it.

Why does everyone think antibiotics are rare? Sure, uncommon, but I tend to find them on about 1/3 to 1/4 of my hospital/medtent visits. I even got 3 in one trip. Admittedly I tend to play lower pop servers. They are less juicy targets for hackers.

I scored a DMR a few days back. Decided to run back to the coast and cover any survivors I found with it. Used the steam overlay trick to auto run. Went about making some food to eat. Return to game in time to see zed munching on my unconcious body. I ran too close to a town I suppose. Died an respawned, wait no. I reapeared right behind my own corpse with 2000 blood and a broke leg. Still had my inventory. Fixed the leg, grabbed the DMR off my corpse and resumed my jog to the coast with a second DMR.

I didn't get my loot back. I doubled it. Somehow when I was killed by zeds the hive wasn't properly informed. I guess the last info it had on me was when I had 2000 blood and a broke leg. So when I tried to respawn I expected to ne on the coast. Instead I appeared right behind my own dead body. I still had all my loot and so did my own dead body. So I snagged the DMR off my corpse so I would have two. I planned to give one away. Just a funny alpha glitch imo.

I thinks its one vehicle per spawn point on a server. Can spawn points spawn multiple vehicles over a few server restarts?

Short and sweet, does anyone know a way to launch the game with Six/Commander and have the overlay function in game. Any commands/options I can add?

On US 183 I spotted 2 players sneaking around while my buddies were looting the barraks'es. One had an AS50, the other had a FNFAL I believe. Shortly after we spot them another buddy arrives and drives his truck straight on to the runways. (In his defense we had said NWAF was 'locked down', but who the fuck drives straight into NWAF under any circumstances?). They immediately opened fire on the truck. I countered with a burst at the sniper, but didn't get a kill. I repositioned and found the other player hiding under the truck. I confirmed he wasn't a one of ours and took him out. Afterwards I found a body in the middle of the runways with a few dead zed near. On the body was an AS50. I can only assume it was the sniper's. I think i downed him and the zed finished it. So, absolute props to the players I killed for not DCing! You guys play it right, I respect that. If you see this, feel free to message me with the details of where the truck was on the airfield and I'll be happy to play with you guys any time. I'll do my best to help get you geared up again.
