Thanks man! Yeah Panthera is a great change from chernarus! Only encountered a couple of hackers so far and generally they've been slightly better than the old "nuke ther servers ones"... Glad you enjoyed the video!

Yeah it will take you a long time compared to this, but the end result is something almost movie like! Worth investing time in. Perhaps not for every video as it takes alot more effort. There are some very good tutorials on youtube, if i get a chance ill link you some. Good luck with it!

Should be accepted as commonplace I believe personally. Without the KoS players, the game just wouldn't be as addictive. Theres something about not knowing where the next shot is coming from that adds a layer of immersion I can't find anywhere else. Me and my band of friends usually stay in the shadows, or if we're feeling lucky approach them with guns up on all sides should the terrain allow it. But the slightest sign of trouble just leads to us filling them with lead. Perferably we leave them unless they have a high value item, if you're in a car that can take all of us then its going to get ambushed - thats just how things work in the apocalypse! Same thing happens to us ofcourse, god knows how many times we've made stupid descisions, or driven too slowly. Moral of the story: Keep your weapon up, always.

Up to you, personally I don't see much difference with spawning dayz zombies and scripting them to behave how they do in dayZ anyway...Nice video though. Bit jerky. "everything purely from the game itself, and that is what makes it real" - Using the arma 2 editor is from the game and real !

Glad you enjoyed! Panthera is a massive map, with multiple airfields. I think there are around 4 to 5 helicopters on the map at any one time...but they usually get destroyed very fast due to air to air combat and/or pilots that just plain suck. There is also the AN2 bi-plane, which is able to carry alot of people but is extremley slow and easy to be shot out of. In addition to this, the Osprey MV-22 is in this map.

Might be worthwhile using the Arma II edtior, and scripting the ingame slow motion by using the (SetAcctime 0.1) command. Remove brackets, and replace 0.1 with how slow of fast you want it to be. Greater than 1 being sped up, less than 1 being slown down. No more jerky movements :). More tinkering required, and you'd have to manually command the zombies through the editor, but for bits where you want super smooth slowmotion - its unbeatable.

CPU needs to go. The graphics card can wait, but the processor is cleary is what is killing your game! I reccomend the AMD Phenom II series. I currently have a Phenom II BE X2 3.2Ghz which i over clocked to 3.6Ghz. This processor was cheap at the time, ( Around £70 ) and that was almost a year and a half ago so you should be able to pick up the much improved Phenom II 955 BE X4 for around the same price now! These processers are fast, reliable and run relatively cool even on stock cooling. The Phenom II be955 will run anything thats on the market at this moment. And if coupled with one of the newer ATI video cards such as the 7770 or if you really want to push the boat out, the 7950, then it will run games on high settings a few years into the future. One last thing to be wary of when upgrading your PC, as your parts become more exotic and power demanding DO NOT neglect your power supply! Always check and make sure you have a comfortable amount of power to run all your gadgets and gizmos.

Hey again everyone! ORiGiN is back with another DayZ video. Previously, we haven't uploaded much gameplay of us playing as pairs and as a clan, so we decided it was time to ammend this. In this video, me and Gregg pair up to ambush a group of heavily armed survivors. Unfortunately due to that fact it would take me days to upload, I have had to cut down the nerve wracking 1 and a half hour chase we had, tailing them all the way to their camp. Gathering our thoughts and hastily planning an attack we ambush them just in the nick of time. (I would like to add a personal thank you to everyone who has subscribed over the past month, and liked/commented. Your continued show of support makes it worthwhile for us to keep making these videos, and gives us a great feeling to know that others enjoy our work.) More to come in the next week as we track, hunt, and scavenge our way through Chernarus as a Clan (and paired groups.) Finally a note of gratification to the clan we hunted in this video, you had the balls not to quit in the face of our attack to which we salute you. Without further adue: Enjoy.

FRAPS for recording, but beware it will eat all your hard drive space - so remember to delete old files. For editing, anything will do. If you want a whole host of features then sony vegas is the best thing. However that being said, sony vegas for the newb is quite complicated to use unless your willing to set aside some time into learning all the features. If your just wanting the basic cut and trim, stick some overlay text on and add audio then just use windows movie maker or whatever your PC came with! Alot of people have this illusion that you need £1000 worth of editing software to make good videos, which is nonsense. Start off in the free/cheap end, and as you proress and learn more about video editing and the art of cinematography (should you choose to increase your skill and knowledge) before purchasing anything more than £20-50. Either that, or acquire the more powerful ones through "other means". Here is a machinima i created WITH sony vegas, but only using the very basic features (There was no need for super CGI or key framing etc here). You could do ALL of this in windows movie maker or whatever, although it might be a little rougher and perhaps more time consuming as WMM wasn't designed with being the best in mind, the only thing you couldn't do in WMM is add the colour correction (Which really brings things to life when you know how to use it).

I'm not even a dubstep fan and that gave me goosebumps haha! Any chance of possible use in a future ARMA machinima? Full credit in credits ofcourse. Keep up the work, i'd like to see more!
