Consolidated Weapons/Equipment suggestions

To add to the Crowd, Less US weapons, more Russian weapons. More clothing options. More backpack options. More than one backpack? No Longguns in backpacks but a separate slot for a shoulderslung weapon. Keep ammo and magasines\clips separate. Different vests that you can equip other ammo gear configuration. Look at Jagged alliance 2 1.13 mod. 40mm grenades and glock mags doesnt fit in the same pockets. Pistols in holsters should show in your holsters. Have an alternative version of all the tools that takes longer to as an example make a fire or take down a wirefence. Add a wirecutter to cut holes in the fences. Add working ligth/laserpointers to the weapons that shows them on the model. -
What happened to manually downloading via mirrors? This was always less buggy than the launchers.

Hopefully it will use a new map with less military weapons and more post apocalyptic feel to it. Chernorus is to tidy except from the wrecks. I want to see garbage, corpses, barricades, wrecks, burned out buildings, abandoned roadblocks, polluted areas and dead animals. AND NO DUPING BUG!

Excellent idea, this would bring people I bring into the game from being totaly ignorant of the game to atleast capable of playing the basic game :)

What does everyone do in DayZ's "end game"?

Finding the speedboat and make a nice camp on one of the bigger islands. Drop your gear there in a tent. Take a pistol and swim to shore and start over or recruit newbs into your own militia and take over a minor city or maybe green mountain. Play only at night. Hoard car parts and dump them close to carspawns. Roleplay. run on a zombiekillingspree, be a hero of cherno like toegoff. -
There is a 3-4% chance for a Kalashnikov weapon and 1% for a m16, less for other natoweapons, and that is if there are loot there at all.

Ive had a tent that I couldn't see myself when I went 15 meters away to any direction, looted twice. It was of the beaten track aswell, but not out of the map.

I can understand the frustration. Getting shot while you are loading in the game isn't fun in any game, but unlike the other games you decide where you load in because you decided where to log out. So if you made a bad decision, you live or die by that decision. And thats whats makes this mod great. So you take the death, kick and scream for a while, and try to learn how to play better the next time.

Just to state the obvious. This thread should have been locked after OP. All the issues that comes forth here has other legit threads for them. So we got 300 pages of trolling, my own post included, instead of a thread that Rocket could give us information on. So for the next pending patch thread STFU!

Pick yourself a nice ride, steal all their fuel and burn the other vehicles. -
It generaly better to use blue chemligths combined with a pistol than to use the torch. Military torch is better but you cant carry a pistol. Fleshligth is the best :)

Ive had no problems with the two ghilliesuits ive worn, but i got dropped in the ocean when i wore camoclothing. This was not with 1715 though

Being a succesful lone bandit in this mod takes just as much skill and patience as survival by other means. Sometimes more so because their prey has military hardware.

Things that would make me interact with people is tasks i cant do alone. Like fixing a vehicle,boat or a huey. Or taking on the milZeds around a downed helicopter. -

It is a red market. If you have enough guns and buddies to make it less than costeffective to kill you and steal your stuff, you can trade. If not, you are living at the mercy of armed strangers.
