You don't spawn with a map. It's blank because you don't have a map. You have to find one, normally in Grocery stores. Try looking on a map like this. When you connect to the game, there is a message in the lower right corner that says what city you are in; Underneath "Chernarus" and above "Day 0" Look for that city on the map, and work you way to a grocery store if you can. For more info, Try using the DayZ Wiki

It only takes five minutes, don't be so dramatic. Let it run it's course and don't disconnect before the timer runs out or it'll always do that upon login. It's called Shock, and it's supposed to only happen if you disconnect after getting severely injured, but it seems to glitch and do it after death. Nothing you can do but wait it out.

Does anyone know what happened to server DE 336? It was online, if a bit laggy, for a bit and now today it just disapeared when i tried to connect and it hasn't come back since. :(

I somewhat had a similar one. I was in Cherno and I was climbing the ladder to the big building near the construction site, and was getting shot at by someone. I didn't know where or why but I was, and I was sorta scared. After a while of being on the roof i stood up and started moving around in circles to see where he was shooting from. He couldn't shoot worth shit, I was worried i was moving too less and he still couldn't hit me. eventually I figured he was shooting from the fire station. I started running up towards him behind cover and such and eventually got within enough range to shoot him with my lee enfield. I was able to walk towards him while shots were falling on the walls near me (I felt like Gus Fring from Breaking Bad :V) and shoot him twice in the face. I guess it would be understandable that he was so bad at shooting if he was doing it on purpose, but I swear it happened. xD

Straight to the default destinations near the coastline. That's where the spawns usually are other than the rare (seemingly bugged) spawn at Novy Sobor

Toolboxes are pretty hard to find. I'm for the idea of having wire cutters specifically for the purpose of taking down Wire Fencing, but useless for anything else.
