I mix it up every other death... First char I did the extreme survival never enter open field creep and scope out every town for hours before entering etc... lasted a while then died to a glitch and realized was all for naught so since then I mix it up, Ill stick around the coast and join groups and shoot bandis and have a grand ole time then on next respawn ill head inland do some searching and exploring and living off the land. Currently Im gathering some supplies to head back inland with. Like everyone has said... Wanting to survive? You head inland... Want action? Stick to the Coast...

I was surprised today... I had played at night and watched while even running a marathon how fast it dropped and then how slow it returned while in broad daylight in middle of day... HOWEVER: What really surprised me was while in the afternoong laying prone for a extended period of time I realized it had began to drop again... I was moving away anyhow and just jogging around the hill raised it a point or two.. though that was actually pretty cool :)

It can be frustrating but honestlly the most fun is usually first few hours of your char... after a couple days its rather boring unless your running with a crew/group/squad. Only time ive really been like WTF!!!OMG! SOB!! was when I fully kitted and was fending off a wave of Zs with full health and had taken down a large number of them and feeling victorious when one warped throught the wall next to me and 1 hit knocked me out cold... I was speachless... then pissed... then did the "its Alpha" *sigh* and started again :)

[/quote'] IF you go into the wilderness yes its quite easy to not kill anyone... my first char I did this and lived for days in the wilderness with minimal human contact and 0 worries... its easy. However I dont choose to live that way everytime and that means much more human interaction which forces you to make decisions... So you would allow a stranger to walk right up to you with a gun drawn and point it in your face without so much as a hello? I think not. The humanity system is flawed. Later after those muders I was in my happy camo bandit skin overwatching a town(hoping for bandits lol) and started calling out Zs to a new Survivor down below and informing him of other players coming in and out of the area from my location. later on I tagged along with him and 2 others... I was in bandit skin.. they were not... They did not seem to care once my 1911 started dropping Zs for them. the humanity system would call for them to kill me on sight because im a evil player... the reality of it is they saw me for a legitmate player who helped them out and joined their party.. bandit skin and negative humanity points and all... You cant judge a book by its cover and thats my point all those people... they were killed on their actions not their past or skin.

The night 9/10 sucks lets face it... defending it again and again is retarded... I agree with the moon is out and not raining its enjoyable.. however seems always pitch black.. no moon and then raining half the dam time. I like the night just not the 8/12 hours of it thats pitch black.

Ive never been able to step over wire... never.. just me? I also today at a factory saw that it was infact keeping the Zs out and causing them to run around it.... So it was working to some extent. But lets face it only purpose its used for mainly is against other players, im fine with that but it sucks when they are long gone and you dont have a tool box/way to get in. I think it should be able to be removed with a timer/countdown select remove but it takes say 45seconds?

I can understand pitch black under some circumstances... in a building... deep forest... storming.. .but 90% of the time its not just pitch black out side and it seems that out of the 12hrs of night the majority its just pitch black. I also like some of the previous posters have spent many hours of my life in the dark conducting operations and only in very few circumstances is it this dark. I like the dark! It adds some spoooky spoooky to the game keeps you on edge... adds some cover you can travel fast and cover alotta ground without fear of banditos in the game. however when it gets so dark I cant see a tree infront of me or the glimmer of a road or water or anything thats insain. I love the mod and the night only makes me avoid it usually as its just takes too long to get anything done when most of the time... Now ill admit when the moon is out and its a clear night ingame its not bad and I can enjoy it but thats rare almost.

My couple of Pennies: I have to say I love the new inventory system, its very simple and keeps mistakes from being made i.e. oops ate or drink or other happening also I think it adds immersion when you have to sort through your pack/have stuff organized makes a lil more sence to me that if I need to eat or drink or bandage I take a knee and pull out my gear other then just hitting 1 button and being done I found wood, however I think I could have lived with the old way of making fire... seems like adding wood to the mix is just one more thing to take up space in the backpack and 1 more hurdle to jump through... usually i think more is better but for making fire I could probally surfice with just requiring it to be near a forest or wood instead of having to carry it... could being near forest as well as flat ground work? The Win; dont care either way but anyone find one spawning with any ammo yesterday? I found 3 in a short play period and each one came with 0 ammo.. also never saw any ammo for it in about 50+ different spawns. Bad odds or? The new Temp feature... Im sorta disliking, ITs cool, however as mentioned when im running and outa breath my temp should not be plumeting I could understand if I was laying down and not moving on a hilltop but running a marathon I should be able to maintain some body temp... Also it dropped insainly fast I would say 15minutes I dropped to about 70temp(estimating) I also noticed when I played next in the day my temperature did not go up? Bug? I stayed the same temp... Cool feature but right now just making it hard to travel and making nighttime even more less played and avoided. Overall I like the new patch also assuming Lightning was addded as I had previously never seen it before. Was a nice touch to the rain.

People do bad things.... Look at every major earthquake or hurricane... theres always been looting and murders. You have to dig a lil deeper... You dont think people are capable of it? Look at Riots... Things can go bad quickly.. and given this game is set in a world where society is dead yes... There will always be have's and have nots, when you take away a consequence i.e. LAW and add a motivator i.e. Survival.. it all goes out the window. Your peaceful society fails.

Just keep walking your own path Rocket... it got you this far... changing direction will only allow it to slip away. The Popular opinion did not get it where its at now....You can never make everyone happy no matter what as Im sure you know and learn again every day... every change or fix will make 5 people happy and piss off 10... watering it down only takes away unique gameplay. The Flavor of the month crowd will always come and go and never sticks around long they come they consume then they are off to the next great hit/game... your fans and the ones who like it will be the ones who play and continue on and support till the end.

Ive lost a couple full kits/setups to bugs/glitches.... just restart :) I find the first few hours/day of the game more fun usually anyhow... After you have everything not much to do except keep eating and drinking... Example: Full kit, Full health, somehow magically made a Z mad from another side of a building so retreated to a building as the whole AF came down on me.. stood my ground emptied all my AK ammo resorted to pulling out my shotty blasted down more when one warps through a wall beside me and in 1 hit knocks me out cold... epic battle and win turned WTF SOB! moment in seconds... back to square one. Example2: Trying to log in, after hitting debug forest decided to back out, go to abort and game glitches and cursor selects Respawn instead of abort... death... respawn back to square one :( now im very very very careful when attempting to leave a server as it gave no warning or question if I wanted to respawn... just instant bam death. from debug forest lol. This is happens... sucks.. but games Alpha there is no "beat" the game or win right now... lose your gear and move on and start over.

Yea exact same problem never had this before in the previous two patches. Trien to double check everything now...
