I cant believe your trying to defend that extended exposure to cold and wet will not lower your immune system therin causing you to become sick... really? come on... christ. and your comment about Hypo... well it can happen at almost any temperature. I recieved Hypothermia when it was about 48f outside, I was not climatized and slightly dehydrated and participating in a 15mile run, it was designed to induce minor hypo and it did... my core temp dropped to 94.*f and I only made it around 13.5 miles before I could no longer stand. Hypo does not require freezing temperatures. *edit: Also for anyone wondering... at core temp of 94.3(f) w/ slight dehydration I was unable to stand straight was very dizzy and could not walk in a straight line, I also could not focus.. I was easily distracted and could only focus my mind on simple task. It basically felt like being very very intoxicated, yet knowing something is wrong and not being able to really focus on the problem. On my assisted walk/ride to medical assistance I recall my only thought being that of "A orange gatorade would be lovely" And remember this was only with a 94.3 core body temp I had barely dropped 4 whole degrees.

The work/life excuse is stupid... enough servers running different time zones it no longer matters... quit crying for christ sake.. you had time to get your ass on here and cry about it you had time to fucking play.

I believe it was 10days and it was also my gayest death... was going great even was teamed up then... I ventured into Devils Castle (yes i know) I had scoped it out for a good 15-20minutes no movement.. had been 0 chat all day and no noise... was wanting a tent so thought be worth checking... I sneak past the Z spawns.. sneak up the stairs... I barely enter the dam doorway and BOOOM shotgun blast from some guy who had no shit been sitting there waiting for hours for someone to walk through the door... I couldn't believe it.. Im all about bandits but I was dumbfounded some Ahole had seriously spent that much time just waiting and hoping someone walked in the door... then I had to laugh as he started bragging about it in chat... :) kudos to him but ill be dammed sitting in a room staring at a doorway for enternity is not my type of fun :) I have no idea how many deaths Ive had... at least a dozen.. maybe two... some my fault ala hitting the dam respawn button :( others not my fault i.e. falling off things... logging in to ocean... logging out up north to log in on beach to be shot instantly.. who knows.. lots of random deaths.. Ive had Zs warp through walls to 1 hit me and kill me from full health... Hell I got stuck spawning into the Debug forest... eventually tried to even suicide/respawn and it spawned me back at the Debug forest so I just started running and found my way back to the map... Debug forest is on the western part of map about 5min run north of farthest west spawn on beach. Ive been shot in the face/back after helping people/fending off hordes and spawns at least 5 times... Ive been killed twice now after emptying a full magazine into someone to only have them turn around and 1 shot me... I still recall the one guy watching him stalk me.. follow me to the barn... I entered it then sprinted out the other side to flank him... I sneak back around to see him enter the barn after me.. I come up behind him take aim and from 15meters shoot him in the face... not once but a entire magazine... even see the blood from his face.. nothing he turns casually and 1 shots me. So is life in aLpha Dayz Currently Ive been alive 3 weeks? Only played about half of that though dunno what day its on... Im happy and have every item i could ever need and fully supplied and just exploring the map and the wild and living off the land and occasionally investigating a murder or bandit activity from the safety of my DMR(well currently 50cal)... Im sure itll not last long.. im getting bored and careless... ive stopped caring about spring across open fields.. im getting restless.. Ill soon get taken out.

# of users does not really make any difference.... yes it can help to narrow issues/concerns but 99% of the players have 0 interest in the "development" of the mod or Alpha/beta etc... they want to play their "Zombie survival game" not find bugs or assist in development.

Yes you can usually get your bolts back... it sucks to aim with you have to practice with it to be good(which is kinda cool as it takes some skill) If players werent the only threat I was worried about id use one.. however being that the current situation Zs are very low threat so I prefer firearms for defence against humans. Guess biggest problem is I have never been able to allow myself to put down a weapon I had to use it or when I had space for two main weapons drop either... even now.. not dropping my M4 or my 50cal for a xbow, stealth be dammed. For the RL scenario yes.. its a good stealth weapon against Zs but.. slow reload... limited ammo... not something you want to rely on if your in trouble.. Also with low ammo if you were fleeing each bolt you shoot your not getting back... so its a forward/offensive weapon really only.

Well this is how I feel anytime I roll into the City.... was pretty epic when I was cruising electro with a 870..

They are quite usefull... they are great for picking up respawners from the coast when needed and ive seen groups do rescue missions with them... Ive also shot at them... I was surrounded in green mountain with bandits in the woodline and Zs surrounding the tower and bleeding, no food and no water... was a tough sichtuation.. when I heard a Heli buzz near by... my heart raced! I had hope! I raise them on the chat.. and they asked what my emergency was... I told them.. they buzzed the tower and said they could not support it I was on my own.... my heart stopped... so close yet now so far.. anger envelopped and I in vain unloaded a mag at them... then sat down to die and watch the sunset as the Zombies roared and clawed and screamed below... I raised my middle finger to the woodline at the bandits and closed my eyes I may be leaving this forsaken peace but at least It would be in a last few minutes of peace. <-- gotta add a lil flair to a story :)

Yup chopper loot is fixed (somewhat) I found/came across 3 choppers last night 1 would not spawn loot, another was spawning stuff like crazy(DMRs etc...) and another only spawned a 50cal and nothing else... I found a FAL in a Stary tent though also so dont believe they are chopper only.

I carry three guns myself as well... I carry a AR, a Rifle and a Pistol. My fav set up is: -Any M4 or AK variation with minimum 4-6mags -DMR with minimum 2-3mags -Glock or 1911 minimum 6mags Currently Im using: -M4A1 -50cal/Barret or whatever its called in Arma dropped my DMR for it for shits n giggles. -Glock You sacrifice alot of space to carry three weapons but its worth it to me, when im traveling overland I always have the sniper rifle out, if I move into a urban area or town or searching buildings the AR comes out.. If I need to crawl fast or quietly kill a Z the pistol comes out. Yes you sacrifice insain amounts of space in your bags but to each their own.. I do this rather then have to sacrifice my shortgame or longgame when its needed... its about survival and Id rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

Theres nothing good about any of the OP ideas... No offence but no thank you to everything you said. And no... allowing you to bind and kidnap another player against his will so you can pretend to tortue or whatever your sick fantasy is, is not going to happen. And did you say a Headshot should take seconds to 5minutes to respawn? how about they just die like they do now... Theres a insain amount of ways already in game to use to navigate as already listed, from the sun to the stars to the clouds... a home made compass is not needed.

This is a good game and what many of us have been waiting for or wanting :) However remember what you just stated: This is a ALPHA so I hope you maintain that mentality after the bugs and assholes try and ruin it for you :) after the 4th or 5th time your shot in the face after helping someone or respawn in the ocean to drown after you just got fully geared out or whatever the cause :) just try and keep the focus and remember its not complete and hopefully whats taken from this will one day be a truly great game. Its easy to fall in love with DayZ its harder to not to want to hate it after a while :)

I used to hate deerstands and cuss them... however after he patched it a few weeks back ive had 0 issues... Also never fallen off a building. Your right this is why I prefer 3rd person... I enjoy 1rst person for shooting etc.. however moving around I prefer to have a feel of my surroundings where im located/behind etc.. and I cant get that feeling/emersion from 1rst person.. I wish they could make it so you could only fire/be in combat in first person yet still be mobile&static in 3rd.

Lost my humanity weeks ago brother... I used to play defensive.. When humanity system went away so did mine.. People just no longer care. Everyones become paraniod and just shooting first and asking later or shooting first and hoping you have gear!.. I dont spend much time on the coast and I still usually wont kill anyone if im far away and they are on there merry way.. however anyone I see camping/lurking anywhere near loot spawns or high traffic areas gets a insta DMR round in the face. I want to say it was about the 4th time in a row when I rescued someoen from a Z horde to get shot in the face afterwards when I gave up on humanity in the game :) Ahwell none of it matters.. just a Alpha test anyways

You have a very distored view of reality if you think everyone is going to get the nearest gun and immediately shoot everyone they see. Maybe, but at least I'm not alone. Go read a post-apocalyptic book like the road or watch a movie like the Book OF Eli and you'll clearly see that this is the case. It may not be a pretty thought, but it's the cold, hard truth. Oh... a Book and a movie told you so... I see so your basis for reality is based on books and movies :) Point taken!! :)
