It was said that Zs would hit much harder. Good... they were rather weak before. Focus on not getting hit as much. Infact you should rarely if ever get hit.

I think shit just got real epic.. I was quite bored of 0 risk or death.. now I may have to drop my 50cal for one with ammo and actually fear the Z again... been a while since that.

Im all about it... maybe it will help to curve the player base a lil which would not be a bad thing at this point, games made enough hype and is possibly years from happening.. those who like the game for what it is.. will not go anywhere and will either play or wait it out till patched...

I can see some story/background to making this work... depends on how the IP evolves but based on the IP there could be reasons for some to be stronger... i.e. it started in Stary or NW AF so stronger/mutated soldiers could be there. Im not saying its good or bad but theres possibility.. I do also believe in greater risk for greater reward... currently only risk of greater reward is greater risk of another player. Which of itself is a another topic all together. Its something for down the road.

Its a Alpha mod for a game thats 3 years old... Hes not worried about "Losing a ton of players" christ... You should be testing the game not playing it... this is what happens when games are going through pactches during development... jesus christ. Be better if you didn't come back

Ive not had much luck anywhere but at Stary... Stary has what 15 tents? each tent has 2 spawns of military loot... so thats 30 spawns worth of chances for some good loot... Ive never gone there and not seen at least 1 good weapon or piece of gear. And also theres always a chopper or two down for loot within a minute or two to the NE/ E of it.

Yes your fine.. I wondered this as well... spawning in the debug is no different then spawning anywhere else, yes the r est of the server/map/players/loot/zombies are all there.. I Was wondering this when it happened to me, but as soon as I got to the coast I spotted a couple players then I hit a town and saw plenty of Zs then a deerstand and found loot.. and when I logged out and back in later all was well still. So yes your in the game normally and all players/Zs/Loot are working. your just in bum fuck egypt at the moment.

North no.. youll never see anything again.. if you head NE or N/NE you will eventually find roads/towns etc... like I said its on the very very far western edge of the map and towards the lower part of the map only a 5min run from the most western spawn on the beach.

Well... heres the % of loot for those stands: http://picacid.com/arma2/loot_en.html Ive never had much luck but Ive found tons of DMR ammo thankfully in them and also ammo for my M4s.. they are nice to hit on your way north to Stary or AF for a quick AK or other gear. I would say maybe 1/5 I find something good like a Kobra or something.. however I consider them waypoints when im heading somewhere I never intentionally seek them out.. just swing by when they are within a min or two of me. Due to them being having 2 spawns odds are not the greatest of finding great gear.. however thats still 2 chances of some decent loot. They can spawn anything most military spawns can.. just with only 2 chances not the greated of luck...

Ive been stuck there/spawned there before... Its located in the very West about a 5min run north of the farthest western spawn on the edge of the game border where the trees/terrain stop spawning. if your stuck there just head south(use sun or stars if needed/no gear) if you head south from there within 5minutes you will hit water/traintracks then just to the east would be your first town to the west on the map. I guess you could also just head east from the debug and would but you around Pavalovo or at least the road that heads N/S through it. If this is nothing to do with what your asking oops.

Its got its pros and cons... range sucks.. power/damage/lethality sucks.. but.. close range its pretty awesome. :) Only once ive ever had I also found at Baloto.. never seen one in Stary or NW AF however its a military spawn weap so those are your only options to find it rest is just % and luck. I remember I when I found the at baloto I took out a sniper in the balota twr from behind a destroyed car crouching in the dark was awesome :) fun gun but ammo is hard to keep up with.

Its odd. Ive had it work and not work with the same gun. I was wondering what was going on when i picked up the last glock.. wouldn't work but I had NVGs so no big deal... later on I tried it again and it worked.. *shrug* try the map screen switching thing I believe I was looking back and forth at the map inbetween it not working and working.

I have no clue how many crashes ive checked but I would say ive only seen a dozen that have had loot, its gotten better and seems to work now. Somethings Ive seen: -Loot spawns in 360 degree circle from 0-1meter from the exterrior of the chopper -Ive had loot almost always spawn right at the tail of the chopper sometimes hidden in or under it... very hard to target and would never know was there. -Ive seen the loot disapear after spotting it and running to it only to see it vanish instantly -It can be hard to spot... Ive lost sight of the spawns in floral and had to blindly try to mouse over the ground to find it. -Always good loot. -about 90% of the crashes I have see have been near Stary

:) glad i came back to check on this threat :) got interesting in last few pages lol!!! On original note: Ive only seen a GPS once and was off another player.. Ive seen NVGs only once and was off another player.. Playing since early May I would say guessing Ive had to check a good 1000+ mil loot spawns. On that note though I have been lucky with rare weapons and everything else under the sun.
