Look up Arma 2 and read the story line behind that game. This takes place in the same place at some point after that scenario. The US Marines were there and they always do stuff without Brits. Even when no war is going on they have two MEUs (Marine Expeditionary Units) traveling the world at all times, no Brits on board or in site. :thumbsup: As for why the M4. Because, as Rocket said, it is the most modular firearm in the game and is the most difficult to implement, so they wanted to start with that to get a good test run going.

The guy fawkes mask is in the files I believe. I think they should add some historic figure masks for sure lol.

Was looting a house and a guy ran up bleeding asking for help. I threw down some rags that vanished. Then they came back so I picked them up and put them down in the street, they vanished again. Finally they came back and he got bandaged up. Then we ran to the new towns north of Cherno and looted the garages there where I found my first pistol holster. Man I loved that holster. When we got done he said his friend was going to meet up with us, I didn't trust that. I thought they would be after my brand new leather pistol holster. So I left. :( My precious.

I don't trust people with fireaxe's. Since they both have them it is even so far. Their clothes, I trust A more. Their firearms I trust B more. I have never been killed by a Mosin that I have seen, so if I see them I am usually ok. It's a tie, don't trust either.

Zero. I played the mod and Cherno Life and have never seen 1 instance of abuse. Like I said it was fairly technical to get the logo's in there to begin with, so not like every idiot with a computer was going to take the time just to get a big dick on his car in the game. :lol:

Skyrim is also a complete game, how many players did it have in Alpha? Why does it matter to any of you where this game ranks in # of players?

Check out the clan section and you can look for some people to play with. Many clans will let you play with them even if you don't join. There are also usually individual people looking for friends to play with there as well. Always good to have some back up. :thumbsup: If all else fails never feel bad about running away. I have run away from my share of gun fights. Sometimes you have to know when you are outgunned.

You know who gives no shits? Me. I enjoy this game so I play it. I don't care if it is #9 or #59 or #999. Don't like it? Leave. ;)

Also keep in mind that it was pretty in depth and some what difficult to get this logo in game so not everyone is going to be doing this. The vast majority of people won't ever have it.

This. :thumbsup: What I did was just forget what everyone else is doing because everyone is different. Go through your menu and adjust each variable. Keep track of what your FPS does and find what works for you. I went from 18 to 40 on the menu screen by doing this and run about 35-45 in game.

Great, but the "3x" zoom on my M4 does not let me spy as much. Hoping for some 10x binos.

Changed it a little bit today. I have a little bit of OCD when it comes to changing shirts. Have had this outfit with all the checkered shirts (red, blue, white are there more?) and now went with the tan tac shirt. This is my American PMC fella. :thumbsup:

Not enough people slow down and actually enjoy this world. Too many people just 'play the game', die-loot-kill-loot-die. I played for about a week walking the map and it was so awesome to get to a new town and just walk down main street. Looking for other survivors, all to often finding the residents infected and the non infected paranoid to the point they might as well be infected. Didn't loot houses in case the owners were still living, only stopped at stores and the church. This game has a great atmosphere if you embrace it. Gamma tweaking is dumb. I have mine actually a little lower than suggested and brightness too. If you turn off the clouds and just pretend it is a cloudless night you will be fine.

I only use the splitting axe. Sure fire axe does more damage but looks dumb, stands out and is heavy (not sure any of that matters though).
