Yes they did. I fell off the tower at NEAF today. Ran back up to get my stuff and was about 50 yards away when the server reset started >:(

First I just want to say great piece of writing by the OP. Sure it is a few things that have been covered but you wrote it in a way that kept me reading. Second I would like to say I have zero issues with KOS at all, even though I don't do it I understand it is part of the game and people will do it (plus it does add some excitement). Now for the ideas. I really love them. Especially the beard growth thing. I don't want long ass hippy hair though. I really want something that can differentiate my character from the other 600,000 players. So I think a more in depth default character should be implemented. I know its alpha. Sure only starting with a t-shirt and jeans and having to find anything else is cool, but ultimately you are going to find pants and a shirt with 6 slots in two minutes SO I think you should be able to pick which shirts/pant you start with. This will go a long way to making ME different than YOU. Since my character will then reflect my choices rather than what shirt I happened to find first. Cold weather gear, rain gear ect should still be lootable items instead of default stuff if it will have an effect on the game other than gear slots. Along with that is some way to know who I am talking to for the love of god, also who I kill and who kills me. Make us individuals instead of the "people that aren't me". Some when you are within 10 yards or something and have the dot/reticle on a player you see their name. Also when looking through a scope or down the sites at a player you see their name. This way we are involved on the personal side of the matter, not just the kill em all side.

I hear you. I am not really searching for any items, just happen upon them in my journeys. Good question. 20 medical items 16 tools 4 cooking tools 21 other items 10 weapons 11 attachments 6 ammos 88 plus all the clothing and food type stuff. Around 115, 120 I guess. What is crazy is there will be SO much more stuff by the time this game is "ready". There are still things I have not found though. Not that I am looking. South of the firehouse in cherno same side of street, south of the hospital in Elektro opposite side of street, over by the docks in elektro by the red brick house on east side of docks.

Unfortunetely I have been shooting my way through the melee bambi hoards that try to mug me for my gear lately. Hope they learn to just leave me alone. KOS does not work well without firearms.

Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue? Earlier today I had a problem with the .45 that it would not fire even when I loaded a full magazine. I pull the trigger and it just clicks like it is empty. Just now I had the same problem with the .357 and when I tried to reload it I was told it is not empty.

Some one has hacked steam and so many people can't login to steam and get the "Authentication" error message after a minute in the game and get booted.

Ah they could all be jacked up. Sucks that is all I carry haha, I just found an M4 though so I guess that will do if I get mags. I can't get in game right now cause of the hack on steam, but once I do I will try to switch out the guns. I also notice all my ammo and mags are "destroyed".

The yellow containers? Check the work shop with all the lathes in them. I always find them in there. My last guy had 8 on him I think. Makes it tough to tell what you have though. I like the coat, but only 3 slots. I found the press vest (and the coat) on the ship wreck. The stab proof vest is the other thing that is rare too. I want to test it out for sure. See if it works against axes. Or if it will reduce bleeding from Zeds.

Logged out on the ship before cause of server reset and logged back in stuck in this room. I just kept running and jumping against the wall until I was freed.

The mask is not a doctor mask, its a "dust mask"; but in game it is called a respirator. I don't have one right now though, used to find them a lot.

I just pretend I have one and use 3rd person. :thumbsup: Don't hate fella's the old mirror trick is awesome.

With the .45 I can. He loads up the mag just fine, but still won't fire. I tried about 6 different mags. For the .357 you just drag the bullets onto the gun, no mag, but if it has rounds it says "fully loaded" and won't let you load any. That is the message I am getting even though I can't fire it. >:(

I found the "down jacket" which "is too bulky to wear over a vest". I can't put it on when I have a vest on, but if I take the vest off and put the coat on then put the vest on I can wear both.

That looks pretty awesome. Make this happen. I would be ok with just the stats as well, but enjoy the map. Can we add in how many times your guy was shot? I have been shot a few times and lived now so would be cool to see.

Awesome I love it. I got attacked while walking toward Elektro. I got shot and hid behind a tree to bandage up while getting shot at. All I carry is a pistol and this guy had M4 and his friend had an axe I could see. So I take off running across the ridge line (a target moving across you is harder to hit than a target moving toward or away), a hail of gun fire rained down on me but he missed, then I heard along with the M4 the loud BOOM of the .357. Both were unloading trying to hit me. I make it into Elektro though. It was a ton of fun.

That guy is a copy cat lol. I have found at least 15 walkie talkies in game, they don't do anything right now. 10000% on shutting down out of game comms. It would be cool if you had the walkie talkie and every once in a while (1 each reset?) a recording comes on and tells you where a supply drop is, usually in big cities. These supplies don't have to be game breaking, but bullets, bandages and batteries. Maybe a small gas generator that you can use to turn on lights in a building (like the school or hospital) or use to turn on some stationary lights in a city.
