    Well I learned how to KO punch from this reset xD

    Pretty accurate. If some one gets a good punch on you it is lights out. I took an ass whooping the other day twice, a few guys jumped me but I guess they didn't know how to punch. I eventually shot them all.

    Nice post, I love visuals. I have noticed the .45 and M4 are not that accurate, but dam this is crazy. The Mosin is not too bad. I got a head shot at about 550 yards today, so I am happy. But yeah these "new" guns should be very accurate.

    Loot: Mysterious and Unpredictable

    I like it a lot. I don't agree with the bunker one though. As cool as that would be I don't like the idea of a bunker being there 1 day and the next it is gone. How about a surfacing submarine? It would be a bit hard to spot and take a little time to swim out to, but would be awesome to explore and grab some decent 'rare' loot and get out of there. The rare loot would not even need to be awesome weapons, but a navy outfit, or sailor hat or something. I would love to see random cargo ships 'floating' by. Swim out and board and check it out. They could even be from different countries and find loot accordingly. US would find 556 ammo for instance, or some rare American civilian firearm. Italian one could have a Benelli shotgun, only found on the boat. The French boat could have a FAMAS. Things like that. This would also take care of the "X weapon should not be in Chernarus" because it only spawns on these boats from other parts of the world. Could do the same with plane crashes.

    Solid post. I have seen my fair share of shit and that is why I am against any mechanic telling us how to play. You know as well as me that EVERYONE handles it differently. I don't want some cookie cutter mechanic that says "you kill x people you start to shake" or something silly.

    If you didn't pick both why are you playing this game? It is fine if you lean one way or the other but if you ONLY want one or the other then there are probably better games out there for you.
  7. Resting by a fire to warm up and get some energy back would be ok, but not for more than like 2 minutes at a time lol. Although barricading myself in a house and using the fireplace would be cool (just don't let people server hop into the house). I do think you need to rest to fight off sickness already though.

    Right here. I think you need to strike a balance. Sure if there is a guy sitting some place then you have the advantage, in a moving situation that narrow field of view is a disadvantage. I set mine about mid way between the two trying to get the best of both worlds.

    Basebuilding/Fortification ideas

    You would need a way to stop ghosting. I think this should already be in the game for high end loot spots. Make it so that anyone that logs out in that location automatically gets transported 100 yards in any direction when they log in.

    Found one in a school yesterday in a western city. Today I found one on the ship wreck.
  13. What about if there was a small doctors kit (stethiscope, stop watch, thermometer) that takes up 1 space. With this kit you can "Take Vitals" of yourself or your patient. When you take Vitals you get important medical feedback. Blood: (level) Energy: (level) Health Status: Diseased, Food Poisoning, Chemical Poisoning, dehydrated, starving The blood and energy levels don't need to specific numbers or anything but just an indicator of basic level (low, medium, high). I think this would be awesome for the medics out there. Instead of just randomly trying to treat things and stick needles and pills in people you can see what is wrong with them and treat that.

    Basebuilding/Fortification ideas

    A few questions I have about the under ground idea. Are they going to be linked to the character so which ever server he is on the bunker is on, or just on one particular server? There are issues either way but for me dedicating that much time/effort to something only to have the server shut down really will suck. Even with just the tents in ModZ I hated having a tent and the server never comes back. 2nd question is will other people be able to access your bunker? If I find it in the woods can I go steal your stuff? I loved the base builder skill in Cherno Life. I spent so much time building different bases.

    Rarest loot currently in game?

    This is how I feel. It is great to get the game now because each patch is like free DLC for us. Yeah, I actually carry that axe just because I like the look of it better. My guy would not be running around the woods with a dam fire axe lol. Found my first LN Scope today. Have not found the TTsKO jacket yet either. Walkie talkies I always see in the fire houses, which actually makes sense lol.
  19. First I want to give credit to Mazzar in the last thread he predicted 1. Fix body disappearing 2. Fix logging out (timer) 3. Server hopping timer 4. Re-add magnum back in 5. Solider zombie models I think the two biggest things were the revolver and the disappearing bodies. Glad those were fixed. So what do you guys think will be next? I'm going to, once again, guess cooking. Maybe not the entire thing but the basic boil water, cook rice or canned food. Animals for hunting are not in yet so the full cooking won't be out for a while. Soldier zombies will be cool when they get put in.
  20. Asus G75vw I did this and it lowered my FPS about 10-13 I was about 33 in a field looking across at some trees, then did this and went down to 20ish.
  21. Haha same thing happened to me. Logged out at server restart then I was captured by ghost pirates and locked in a room. Just run fast against a wall and keep jumping, hope you are not aiming outside the ship lol.
  22. I don't think it will limit player interaction at all, I think it will increase it. I have met a ton of players and don't know any of their names lol. Yeah the "have I met this guy before" thing would be cool, but I agree it's relying on game mechanics too much IMO.

    How many calibers should there be?

    I am just wondering how many different calibers of firearms you guys would like to see and how many you think there will be. Right now we have 5. One for each weapon. 5.56 7.62x54r .357 Magnum .45 ACP 12 gauge buck/slug Now I think the following are the obvious additions. 7.62x39 7.62x51 NATO (.308) 9mm So that is 8 already. I assume they will be adding more that just 3 more. I personally would like to see as many different calibers as possible. 30-06 .500 S&W Magnum .38 .40 S&W .243 Win (perhaps allow for three CZ models this cal .308 and 30-06) There are a ton more calibers and I am sure some one will come in and post a list of all of them lol, but I think this would be amazing if they had 13 different calibers. It would make finding your rifle, magazine and ammo more difficult and more exciting when you do. I don't think ammo spawning should be rare, ammo should be all over (especially in cars, especially police cars/military trucks). The guns spawns are good, then you would need to work to match ammo to your gun.

    What if you found a crashed fed ex plane? Maybe they were shipping some from US to some place. Or some soldier took his personal firearm with him. Of course they should be super rare. I just like the idea of a few super rare guns that you only find ammo for with the gun. So you find a SW 500 and 15-20 rounds. Just a pipe dream, I am sure they won't add it.
  25. Awesome, I remember you guys from the mod. Still got my trader ranking in my sig from back then. I am not joining any clans or anything but will keep an eye on you guys and stop by for some trades for sure. I mentioned it in the mod forum and will here, I can't wait to see the ammo exchange rate. Right now .357 seems to be the most rare.
