hell, guys do you even hear youselfs talking? its a game. have some fun and go out sometimes. you dont have to feel bad for anything here. after you reached the "endgame" you will start to get plenty of kills...

what seriously? you are talking about normal fn fals? you have to admit that the normal fn fal basically is just an improved AKM - with extremly rare ammo. so nobody likes it and all the things you are talking about are waay more useful. btw sometimes i find up to 4 fn fals at the same time on helicopters... ghillie suit, nvg - wouldnt trade that for 10 fn´s scoped weapons are all much better then the fn fal and i have seen hundreds of fn fals in my dayz life but just like 5 lmgs.... good luck ;)

mate a question like this helps nobody. you didnt even tell us if you bought the game on steam or retail. if its the retail version you probably didnt update OA to its latest beta patch AND the normal arma 2 to its latest patch (1.62 or something) if you own the steam version you still did something wrong. that error message describes normally a patch problem.

spend some hours on the issue today. tried several servers tried different genders tried different gears tried different ways of dieing, logout on swimming / proning you see? iam getting more desperate everytime

so basically you are just another sniper in cherno? whats the point?! sounds like all snipers are just hunting noobs. hell no - ALL snipers are counter sniping and "noob hunting" all the time. you are not better then those guys you are one of them. and... thats good. i also have alot of fun sniping in and around the citys. but why create a funny thread about how you are hating all the others?!

yep, still the same problem i do not play on any privat servers and i basically tried a million ones - none of them saves my gear and after every relogin (no matter how long i play 15sec - 1h) everything gets resetted to the beach starter gear. everything i collected gets vanished and is replaced by one godamn bandage and the painkiller. iam still in the correct location though! i think i can also get hungry and thirsty, atleast its saved.

normally one bullet into the chest/head no matter from which weapon should make you unable to fight back. maybe for some seconds.. for gameplay iam ok if i need 3 bullets with a .45. but a whole magazine is rediciolous. how can anyone survive 14 9mm bullets. that would almost cut you in half. i tried to kill a player with my m9. he didnt see me but moved after firing my first bullets. i needed to reload and used almost 30 bullets. edit: i like the ideas from the guy above me. multipliers are the key and its the way its done in most games. for example head x5; body x3; arms, legs, hands x1 but with unsteady aim. crippled legs whatever

for me its even worse. it does not save anything and everything is resetted on relogin. i loose everything i collected and i get the starter gear back

my character is still resetting the gear all the time i relogin. happens since the last patch. didnt change.... i can double starter gear - yeah. everything i collect gets vanished and replaced by the starter gear on re-login.

i agree with all of you. they want to reduce the server load but it failed. people are still dieing now as often as before (!!), it just takes alot longer to spawn in the right spot. makes gameplay really boring and its damn hard to meet friends.

i think you have the same issue as me i even opened a thread for it. your character is doublicating starter gear all the time now i quess. it started one week before for me and no matter what i did my char was resettet to one special set of gear. i was able to throw my dmr on the ground, after a relogin i had it again in my hands and on the ground. now that i died my char does the same with beach starter gear. not so much fun tbh.

Hi since a week i have a serious problem with my character, feels like iam a weird hacker. everytime i log in again i have my gear back from a certain point. it does not effect my blood or other things. this makes it impossible to collect stuff because it gets vanished and i get my old gear back. on the other side iam able to drop a rifle - reconnect and i have it back in my hand AND on the ground. i bet you believe me that all my friends loved infinite dmrs, backpacks and m14 aims ( you would do the same :P ). it was kinda fun until today where i spawned under our truck and got killed. i hoped that when i die all this is gone but its not...now the same happens to me but with the beach starter gear. well i quess the gillie suit and ak 47 i just found are gone forever..grrr

i would if there was any... my char is doubling starter gear.. i loose everything all the time please help! is there a way to reset the char somehow?

the problem is even after like 10 respawns my character is still doing it! it does not stop! everytime i join the game again now iam like fresh from the coast...

i doubt this is normal, lots of weapons that shouldnt be in the game :) dunno if its worth the report - just a random hacker? just in the north of cherno (the single street to the north) i found this box with russian standard weapons i dropped them all later so i dont get a ban or whatever :D

sometimes... just found a helicopter with 4 fn fals 1 m249 and 1 bizon. well i already had my dmr and m14 aim... i had to decide.. i left with dmr and bizon for some silent action ;)

basically i have two problems that make the game complicated for me. 1. at the beginning, when i spawn a new character i hear the typewriter but i dont see it. ive seen pictures from friends and i know where it has to be but its just not there. 2. (more important) i dont see any rifle informations beside my ammo count. no zeroing and not the firemodes. i hate it when i suddenly fire 3 bullets with my m16 or i have no idea about the distance set when sniping. ive no idea what can cause that and changing the menu scale doesnt help too..maybe you have an idea :)?

sry but thats not enough - you can still escape when you are under fire. ghostings or teleporting is only problem #2 ;)

dayz is a pvp survival game. zombies are just here for the atmosphere and to kill some beginners. after a few weeks all the whiners will see that zombies arent the problem with half decent weapons and some experience anymore. dont try to mate up with strangers, mate up with real buddys. i have team survival and action. we kill everyone on sight, because hell we found our team. other players cant give us anything but take everything - except they are dead. ive never played a game that comes close to the adrenalin rush in cherno against other player when you are about to loose everything... so essentially its about - killing players, get their loot. use that loot to kill better players and so on. and thats GOOD imagine a dayz without pvp. come on, seriously. if you played dayz one week you would agree that zombies alone are kinda boring and no real danger. why do you need an m4? why should i loot, why team up?. you could survive FOREVER easily... ZzzZzz
