Your laptop probably has a ''FN'' button right? Now look at the top of your keyboard at the f1-f12 row, at one of the buttons there is probably a little pictogram of a touchpad with a line through it. Press that button and your touchpad will be disabled, press it again and it will turn on again Hope it helps Javira ;)

I'm not sure but maybe this vid can help you out, it works for me at least It shows you how to install DayZ and any Arma2 patches

I had the same problem, but it's really easy to solve. Just go to your Arma2 operation arrowhead folder and run the combined operations file to start the game. http://postimage.org/image/bekwji31n/ Its a easy temporary solution you just have to run it from there from now on.

So of course I always run Arma2 combined oprerations to play DayZ, and I even played it a few hours ago. You can indeed turn it back on in the game options, but for me it then always says my blood is full even when its not.

It might be a bit noobish but you can log out (abort mission) when being chased. Next time you log in they are gone.
