  1. (A long, and semi-interesing story) Whilst making a supply run to Balota (from cherno). I encountered two survivors who were scavenging for vehicle parts. Excited, I ran onto the tarmac hoping for an easy kill (they were in the last hangar) unfortunately, they seemed quite professional and had kept a lookout. One saw me and signaled to his buddy to get cover. He peeked out again to see me, however, while they were cowering i ran to the destroyed truck lying directly across from their hangar. I then lay down in the grass on the right side of the truck (in the grass), which gave me a perfect field of view over my victims. Hoping i had fled, the "leader" cam inching forward, being triggerhappy, i fired a burst at him hitting him twice in both legs. I heard the snap as the bullets shattered his legs. The "leader" then crawled to cover to take morphine and called over his buddy. Hoping this would draw me out, his friend ran across the hangar. However, he never made it and took 4-5 bullets to the upper chest. He died leaving his wounded friend terrified. Somehow knowing my position (gunsmoke?) he cam charging out and fired an ENTIRE AKM mag at me only hitting my foot once. I then took him down with a hail of bullets as a reward for his bravery. With my leg broken, all the zeds decide to respawn and immediately charge me. After killing about 10, i heal myself and quickly search their bodies. I scored an AKM and a shitload of AK mags for my Kobra. I also found a toolbnox and every necessary component to fix a vehicle. Intrigued, i move to the tower for a better position, and hopefully a gun. I find a DMR and quickly drop my Kobra. Now armed with an AKM and a DMR i fell like the luckiest bandit alive. I have 4k blood but that doesnt bother me for i soon slaughter two goats. Hoping to heal and make my way north, I suddenly find that i have no matches (WHY!?!?!??!). My new dilemma is go to cherno or run north? Being a diehard (and being cocksure) i run towards cherno. About 700m from the city i hear a large number of shots (everything from a CZ to a winny). This excites me, however, the sound of an engine excites me ten times more. I suddenly realize the men at the airfield were looking for car parts (DUH). With my heart pumping pure euphoria i charge towards the sounds. My instincts take over and i soon go into a crawl. I pass the gastation finding a mulitiude of dead bodies. As i am walking through the woods, towards the engine noises, a single shot rings out and i fall dead. Unfortunately this survivor group outsmarted me and is now probably fixing their truck to move north. If you would like to take down a group of survivors (with OK weapons) that has a car then go to Seattle 127. They were last seen at the Eastern Cherno Gastation and are most likely headed northwards. Thanks for reading!

The Power Of The Ghillie Suit

Lol. I guess that everyone here is right i never stated i was wearing it (although it is quite obvious from the title). I also did not stress the way that the ghillie suit saved my life. Overall, it isn't a big deal unless you want to go around flaming every post that doesn't meet some form of standard.

The Power Of The Ghillie Suit

Lol. The point i was trying to make (but clearly failed at) was that i was able to literally sit next to a burned out truck and kill the two survivors. I suppose that i didnt really get my point across though.

    shotgun or sniper

Lol to all of the hatchet comments. As a long time bandit (from before the bandit skin), I would recommend keeping both. My preferred loadout is a DMR and then an Assault Rifle or Silenced weapon in my bag. If you keep both guns' mags in your inventory (not your bag) then u can switch guns instantly. This way you have long-range-and-CQC options. However, i recommend replacing the shotgun with an AR or Silenced Wep. Good luck!
  5. I carry a sniper rifle or just a semi (right now a DMR). Then i carry another gun in my ALICE pack for closer quarters (right now an MP5SD). I have all the mags for both guns in my inventory, therefore i can switch guns with a single click. As my secondary, I have a revolver and plenty of ammi, because it is not as loud as the DMR. Add all that together with plenty of food/water/medical supplies and a little bit of evil, then you have my loadout.
  6. Whilst reading an interview from PC Gamer (a "meh" online magazine), with Dyslecxi, Rocket, Etc.... They began talking about the unprecedented things that players have done. For example, players have created traveling hospitals, taxis, governments, and corporations. They theorized that when the game moved to ARMA 3, they would begin to make it more complex and would add in more features and options (EX. Radios, electricity, etc...). So, I wondered. What if peope began doing this, but more. I already know for a fact that there are traveling doctors and governments, but what if people started creating settlements. If the developers were to add in features akin to warfare's base building, or just added more building options, I believe people would begin to settle and make safe havens. Of course this is all my wishful thinking and digression, but if people have made governments and whatnot, they will need protection. When i encountered a traveling medic on a server i offered my "services" if i was payed with food/ammo. He of course refused, saying, "All my guards volunteer." Well, he soon died. But if i had been able to show him "why" he needed my "services" he may have been more agreeable. Basically, i think that a group should be formed, a group of bandits. However, when i say bandits i mean Bandits. Take control of a road. Charge for passage. Control a waterway. Control a city. Basically control a necessity. In the end this is just a random thought i had while waiting for friends to come online.

    Group looking for more

Lol, your steam name turned me off. You ask for 18+ yet your name is that of a twelve year old. Hypocrite much???

    Why tactics matter.

Welp having played shittons of ARMA (mostly warfare mode). I consider myself a tactician. Your plan is good, however, any 2 man group could take you down. It seems that u guys roll in WAY too obvious. It appears that you overuse the vehicles (unless u disembark in a heavily wooded forest FAR away), and rely on the fact that u have a chopper. A single sniper could easily end any hope of an exfil and could easily wipe out your squad. I have ahd plenty of times where my overwatch has failed and i have lost a good chopper team or friend (lol). Overall, your reliance on vehicles and snipers will be your death.
  9. I find that this game gets a little boring after countless hours of wandering in the northern wastes with only a DMR and an ALICE pack full of food as company. Recently, i got betrayed by a friend, so, i am using the forums instead. I play anywhere from 12:00-11:00 ET (Eastern Seaboard Time) and am simply looking for a few people to play with. If you have a mic and just need a bandit to watch your back, then leave your steam name and ill add you.
  10. Whilst walking pass Stary, i found a heli crash. Inside i found a Bizon, FAL, and innumerable rounds. I kept both guns and proceeded to enter the town. As i did i heard many gunshots and large amounts of swearing as a noob runs into my position screaming, "Don't shoot! Don't Shoot!". Intrigued, i obey and hold my fire as he finishes off the last vestiges of zed resistance. By looking at his skin, i could tell he was a noob. I then decided to make a gift of my FAL to him. (I play ARMA and know how loud/innacurate the gun is). He of course runs off skipping with joy. After this strange enccounter, I leave stary only to run into a group of two snipers and a single survivor. Curious, I follow stealthily, using my ghillie suit as a disguise. I then attempt to rob them after i discover they have good accessories but terrible weapons. They reduse to respond, so i take out the survivor with a two round burst to the upper back. He falls over dead, as his former comrades make for the trees. They begin talking in direct saying "Friendly" and "Where the fuck are you?!?!?". As i begin to snake my way to their position, one of the morons sees me and opens fire with his Enfield. Needless to say, he is immediately swarmed by zombies leaving only his friend. This friend then charges straight towards my FORMER position. He fires a shot that would have deafened me in real life, only to be rewarded with a clean headshot. In the end, I received and ALICE pack, every necessary nav tool, and plenty of food and ammo. The loot wasnt premium but it was well worth the fun and easy chase.
