The amount of players that can play on a single server on a console game is not the problem, MAG on the PS3 can handle 256 players on a single server. The only real problem is the current hardware for consoles. I find it odd that the PC gaming crowd believes they are the chosen people for some odd reason, I play both on the console and PC and I can honestly say the PC gaming community is pretty rude, if not more so then on the console, and troll more in my experience. That being said I don't believe this game needs a console port or should get one, but if it does get one it should not be at the expense of a dumbing down the game on the PC. Hopefully some day in the future we can all get along and all the hateful people can realize that they are not they are not the coolest mother truckers ever just because they have a computer.

I am all for more weapons. Also @FrostDMG the VSS is 9x39 not 9x19 the rounds are quite a bit larger then the mp5s, in fact they are larger than the rounds in the AKM.

1. The accuracy on the weapons is fine. Adding more recoil to the weapons and reducing their accuracy would be asinine it wouldn't solve any problems or be realistic it would just make shooting like a dice game. 2. I don't think you understand the point of the mod, adding more location based damage and wounding would be good though. 3. If you want to play veteran mode without crosshairs or third person the option exists. Forcing it on everyone would be pointless. 4. 3d sound would be a welcome addition to the game.

Just here to say there should be a VSS or a similar rifle. It would not be as terrible as everyone is saying considering it has a much shorter range then any other sniper. The developers could also make it so the ammo and the weapon itself are incredibly rare, as well as lower the damage to about 3500 blood in the chest. To the people who say its unrealistic to see a VSS in a rural easter-bloc country, it is also unrealistic to see m107s, as-50s, etc etc. I would like to say though, it would not be prudent to add it at this point as much as i want it, with duping and server hopping and the other myriad of exploits it would make the gun seem like it was the most common gun in the game.

I love the idea, but as others have said way too many prototype or just plain rare guns. I'd also like to say the amd-65 is a fairly common albeit Hungarian ak variant with a 12.6 inch barrel so it might be a suitable analogue to the M4. No Vintorez or VSK-94 is a real shame. The entire family of 9x39 guns should be in dayz, they would be fantastic top tier silenced weapons.

I am looking for a group of anywhere from 3 to 15 players. I am tired of going solo it does'nt bring me any fulfillment as i have everything i want or need. I would like some people who are fun not dicks but not suicidal. I want to get into a more social game then yelling friendly and getting shot at.
