I've noticed that there are several servers that are only turned on when the admin/clan is playing on them. When they're done, the servers go offline until the next day. With all the script kiddies I can't really blame them too much though.

The error can definitely happen erroneously. I have never been in a chopper and just tried to log into a server and got the error. I tried moving locations in another server, logging back into it, etc., but it kept booting me. However, after a server restart, then I could get back in.

Bikes are currently bugged. They automatically repair each time you get out/back on them.

Retrace your steps and check each spot where you got out of the car and/or saved it.

Hmm, it might be server/vehicle dependent then. We have a lot of vehicles on different servers and all of them were still at their locations with gear in them - I checked on several of them early this morning. For the most part we only keep ATVs/bicycles/motorbikes as they are so easy to hide.

You really can't force a setting as monitors differ greatly. You can also play on LCDs/TVs that let you independently control the brightness.

It also spawns where he was driving the bus around the barns at - under the big carport looking area with the hay bales. I found a white truck at both spots on one server once when I was messing around over there. However, with helicopters in the game now, those white trucks really stand out - not quite as much as the bus or the ural with their white roofs tough. If you're going to server hop, do it at those barns west of Zeleno (where he was at with the bus). When the white truck spawns there it's a lot easier to get it fixed up. You can get Jerry cans from the barns and car parts just to the East (in between Zeleno and the barns) in the industrial area by the power substation.

I play on around 12, but spend most of my time on 4-5 of those. There are a lot of servers that are not up all the time or are having performance issues. Here's a tip though. Go to dayzcommander.com and download and use it instead of that crappy six launcher. Mark the servers as favorites that you play on.

You may not know this, but you can actually refill Jerry cans at the big brown tank right between the barns where you found the bus at. In your second part, the bike was spawning in the building by the white truck (don't tell anyone else as it isn't on any of the current vehicle spawn maps), but it was a pain to get out at times because it would get stuck in the floor. It appears they may have moved the bike's spawn spot outside now.

It just depends on how badly someone wants it. I found 14 packed tents in one camp yesterday, but that's about all I do - raid camps.

Watching you at the first reminds me of a vehicle camp (no tents) that I raided that was entirely surrounded by barb wire and sandbags and I didn't have a toolbox or an entrenching tool at the time, but guess what? They had some stored in one of their trucks. It's very wise of you to not park you vehicles right by your tents as well.

I would have kept the motorbike. The hilux is pretty hard to hide since it's bright white. Especially with helicopters flying around now.

Yes, you copy the @DayZ folder into the ramdisk and then add a link to link from the current @DayZ folder to the ramdisk's folder. There are tutorials around on how to do it if you do some Google searches.

When you join a server and are in the lobby, wait there until BatleEye updates if it needs to - it may take a few minutes. It seems to work better that way.

I presume you tried to press the "r" key (or whatever you may have it rebound to) and it didn't work? You have to reload the ammo in the hatchet to get it to work.

I had it bugged once like that. I dropped the hatchet and picked it back up, then I could reload it and use it.

Why would anyone put tents at their campspot 2? There are vehicle spawns there.

I'm not going to be the grammar police, but you may want to edit your sentence to clarify it a bit. Are you saying there are 20 NPCs (computer controlled units) at the NE airfield?

I definitely agree with this - especially now that choppers are back in. Good luck hiding a Ural with its big bright white top or a Hilux that's like a lighthouse beacon.
