What the hell are you doing in Cherno with that kind of kit? Also, what the hell are you and your friends doing going anywhere without thoroughly scouting the area first? On a side note, I assume you play with third person enabled because it's easier. Well... it's easier for other people, particularly camping snipers, too.

Most of my DayZ combat take place within 300m. In this kind of range, sniper rifles are clunky and generally outclassed by the CCO's or even the Kobra in my opinion. I found an M107 just an hour ago at a crashed heli; put it on a zombie and hid the corpse. I will stick to my L85 (if I'm lucky) or my CCO unless I am on overwatch duty.

First. Get used to asshats on these forums, as they are abundant. By hopping I assume you meant switching servers to escape the hacker; the generally accepted definition of hopping is joining server after server in high yield locations in hopes of easy loot. Be more mindful of the terms you use, else you will undoubtedly be flamed. Second. If you disconnected too soon after adding items to your inventory they don't save. I have heard a bunch of different ideas regarding how often your character's items are saved, but in my experience when I get new gear I wait at least five or so minutes before logging off.

If you are actually outside the bounds of the map, where the grass/trees stop, then you will spawn on the beach upon relog. This was implemented to dissuade tent cities and vehicle hoarding outside the map.

Perhaps he did it for the lulz? Mission accomplished? Why do people get so butthurt about bad mannered play in new areas? Just suck it up and spawn again, it would waste less time than posting this on the forums.
